Default kaminari carbon fiber hood owners...

Where did you order your hood from?
And how long did it take?

I ordered my hood from showstoppersusa.com 2 days ago, and they told me that they are built to order, so it would take approx. 7-10 days to build, and then it would ship. Does this sound right? Im just anxious and wish it was here already lol.

thanks for all your feedback

the people at Kaminari are great! It took almost a month to get my body kit but I didn't complain. Their stuff is amazing well worth any wait. The hood is allot easier to ship so I dont see why it wont be faster.

I got a question: how do you wash you car with the Kaminari hood? Does water dripped into the engine bay since there is an opening in the center of the hood?

Yeah the amount of water that gets through there isn't that much at all. And it kinda falls right between ur header and the radiator so it doesn't really get on anything. I've driven in the snow and rain with no problems and I have a Killerglass hose.

I got mine from a group buy here on SL. It seemed like it took forever at the time, so I feel your pain! It really only took a couple weeks for them to make it and send it up here to Alaska.

I bought my Kami bumper from Showstoppers because all the threads said they are real good to deal with. They sucked for me. Called them numerous times and never once got a call back, finally called kaminari themeselves and they finally told me that showstoppers doesnt even see the package that they just take the money and you get the stuff straight from kaminari. Took over a month to just get a bumper. But then again they have low prices and free shiping so you cant win em all I guess.
