Default Will Toyota warranty it ?

Hey guys I'm an owner of a '06 Xb with 24k miles and 36k miles warranty. My windshield cracked on me this weekend and I was wonderin if waranty should cover it ? There's no stonechip just a cracked line "J" shape going from top middle edge downward in front of rearview mirror and turnin right. I will get a picture tomorrow cuz it's dark outside now and I thought just now I may ask u guys for advice before I go on monday to dealer. Could the window just brake under pressure or something ? Anyway also my passanger outside lock is broken. Can't open door with key from outside but powerlock works fine. Should they warranty it as well ?

they will warranty it if it is a manufacturer defect.

i have heard there ahve been problems with the 06 xb windshields cracking, but i'm not sure if there was ever a recall or service bulletin for it. your car insurance should cover glass breakage on its policy.

as for your broken outside passenger side lock. if it just broke, then yeah, maybe it will be covered, but if it looks like maybe somebody tried to break in, then that is not a manufacturer defect, and they won't cover it. so maybe yes, but my money is on no.
