Hey guys I just smoked my tailights on my 08' with VHT tint spray. Let me know what you guys think!!!

it looks pretty good... But just to give some constructive criticism... it'll start fading and start to look dull after awhile... if you have the time i would put on a couple of clear coats... do some fine wet sanding and use a buffing and polishing compound on your tails... they'll look shiny and from the factory!

 

Wet sand, clear coat, wet sand, buff with rubbing compound, wax to protect...done.

Nice, I actually like how you didn't smoke the tops. A little too dark in my opinion. Diesel's were perfect.

I like it, I'mma smoke my TYCs whenever I get around to buying them.

 

Stick to VHT or real tail light tint spray mixed by a paint store. Don't use Pactra spray. I just had a friend leave my house with OEM 05-07 tails on his 08, because the Pactra spray peeled really easily on his 08's. He applied at least 3 even coats on each tail light.

 

did he clear or do anything to protect it?

Mines fine...
