OK, so maybe I suck at searching, but I can't seem to get an answer to the question. Is the Injen Catback system just an Axle back? The website says catback, but all the pics are just an axle back system. I'm trying to figure out if I still need to buy the mid pipe or not. I already have the header, and s-pipe. Thanks in advance. Peace out.

it's not a catback for the tC, it is an axleback so you would need to buy a seperate mid pipe

if youre interested in getting a catback you can just get the injen exhaust and buy a mid pipe, but im trying to sell my magnaflow catback, only thing is you have to cut behind the cat and clamp or weld it.

So if I get a midpipe I still need to cut part of the stock piping?

no no, if you buy a mid pipe im pretty sure it bolts on to the s-pipe but on the magnaflow, you cut it off right after the cat

I think the injen sounds pretty good...just dont add a header with it unless you plan on spending more for a res or 2

Too late, already have the header, and then paid for the injen "cat back". Just waiting for shipping.

So I was able to change my order for just a little bit more. Now I have on the way a Skunk2 cat back!!!!!!!!!!! Stoked, For once I will finally have full exhaust! I have been into imports since before Fast and The Furious 1, so it's been a long time coming.

So here's the setup Ancla header, Megan S pipe, and Skunk2 catback.

I dont know if the skunk2 exhaust has a big enough resonator to shut the rasp up or if it has a resonator at all, you might have to end up cutting a big part out of the midpipe and put in a resonator, hope it works out lol

Yeah I may have to do the resonater, but in the meantime I believe the system comes with a silencer.

mmm i dont think the silencer does anythign for the rasp

iuno, but i heard the skunk2 with a silencer sounds super ricey. you can try it out, but i wouldn't put my money on it. just get a cat converter and a bigger resonator welded on, and you should be fine. i just have a cat converter, and it
1. took away the smell
2. made it quieter
3. gave me a bit of the low end torque back

Perhaps the cat is the way to go first. Is there a cat I cam use clamps with? And if so do I need a pipe expander? Thanks all.

So I put on the Skunk2 system tonight, and it deffinately was LOUD. So I put the silencer on and it tamed quite a bit. I'm going to drive for a week or two and see how loud it is. If it's real loud then I'll just get a resonator off eBay and have a shop weld it on.

I'll probably end up with a 12" vibrant one.
