Default Possible Routes to Scion United

Well we should get some things hashed out before we leave. My GPS ( Garmin Nuvi 360) has a fastest route setting and a shortest route setting. The fastest route shows 1045 miles from my home the the Boulder City Nevada Airport, and 1037.9 miles as the shortest. The address for the Airport is 1401 Airport Road Boulder City, Nevada 89005.
This Route goes through Klamath Falls into California and then into Reno. Then a bunch of little Highways to Las Vegas and into Boulder City. I recently drove this Route from Phoenix and It was not that bad ( alot of 2 lane roads though).
Lets see what others think.

thinking our route is gonna take us over i-90 to tri-cities, cut thru a corner of oregon to boise, then to salt lake to boulder city... 1200miles give or take

looks like we'll probably be leaving monday night and see how far we get, crash where ever then start back up in the am for the rest of the trip.. but that can be adjust as other plan things out etc

Matt this is the route that I plan on taking. We drove it like you a few years ago and it was not bad at all. I remember it being very scenic, and traffic was not bad at all. I figure Sunday we can talk more on this.

Basicly the same route I was thinking of taking, shouldn't be too much traffic on a Monday, hopefully, just worried about weather. Checked out KK's route, all interstate, longer miles and time wise, but no slowing thru little podunk towns and only 1/2 hour longer time wise, hmmmm.

I-84 is a nice drive! Took it to SEMA in 05! We did it overnight switching off drivers and had not problems you just want to time it right to avoid the traffic in SLC, they are crazy drivers there

yeah, I'm figuring on stopping somewhere along the way over night, looks like I'm going alone, brother can't make it, called a buddy, had to clear it with wife and no call back yet, my wife can't get the time off, other buddy will just be getting back from fishing trip in Alaska, sigh, oh well, I'm good company. Yeah, I have other friends, but, not ones I would want to be on the road with for an extended period of time, lol, I could bring this one guy, he would make a fool of himself the first hour we were there, no thank you, I'll go alone.

the rout my GPS gave me was about 1050 miles down 1-5 to Ontario then go east to reno and down from there, so no matter which way we go, one way just knocks a half hour off the trip
