theres going to be 3 units comin out..

The F500BT is the dash unit that competes with companies like Garmin and TomTom

The F700BT and F900BT are double-din units that are pretty much the same thing other than the F700 has a CD player and the F900 adds DVD functionality.

The vid on the euro Pioneer site shows all 3 units.

like ive said in another post!
i have to wonder why the 700 and the 900 models are so small for being double dins.
i can understand the 500 for being a stand alone model...but for the double din installed units, youd expect to see a larger screen, would you not?

could the screens be better quality maybe? 1080? you can take note in the video that the guy states the graphics are superior to many models, and youd expect them to haul into overdrive when theyre pushing this new 3d nav system...but the size of the screen seems disappointing doesnt it?

On Avic411.com, I asked about this new unit and one of the things I love is that it will actually fit the stock unit area. No ugly plastic side pieces to fill in the gaps. It's minor and aesthetic but is one of the few complaints I had about the D3.

Upgraded D3 that fits like a glove? I'm in

you'll still need the metra dash kit *side plastic brackets* to fill in that gap on ANY double din aftermarket radio i'm sure
