ok, without giving too much away to influence people's answers, i'll spell out my problem. my girlfriend thinks the frequency with which i wax my tC is ridiculous, and she's fed up with it. she thinks there's no benefit to waxing as often as i do, so she wanted me to post here and ask you all how often you wax your cars in hopes that i'll see that she's always right about everything ever.

so, anyway, how often do you all wax your cars? thanks.

I wax when it needs it. Usually every 90 days or so. Too much waxing canl lead to cloudiness and a somewhat dull finish.

 

not if you clay inbetween waxes hehe

 

I like to clay bar and polish.

 

I would say ever 1 to 2 months depending on the weather and how much you wash your car

 

^^Basically. If the water doesn't bead up when you wash, then it's time for wax.

 

thanks, guys. that's what i go by as well. it usually ends up being every 2 months or so. my gf says no one should ever wax more than twice a year.

I wax every 3 weeks in the summer. Every once in a while I have to go 4 or 5 weeks in between but I end up doing it about 5 times over the summer. Gets me ready for the winter when I don't really wash it. I only spray it down from time to time.

It looks as a beautiful as the day I bought it.
