I'm torn between the Greddy and Tanabe strut bars. Any experience or knowledge on either that could help me out? Or is it even worth it?

 

if you want strut bars, choose whichever looks better. difference in function is close to nil anyway.

i went with a greddy front strut bar. just got it b/c its a known brand, and definetly can feel the difference.

save your money and get something that actually makes a difference. but if you get a hinged one, like the greddy or tanabe, and say that you actually feel the difference.. well you're full of it

 

I installed my Hotchkis 2 days ago. It looks alright but I know it won't do nothing for performance. It is aluminum and basicaly it is 3 parts that you put together. It feels weak. I think greddy is similar design. If you looking for something what may make a difference then go for one piece strut bar like TRD or DC. I wish I went with trd instead but if you are going just for brand then go for it. I went with Hotchkis to match my sway bars.

 

any strut bar in general is kind of a pointless mod. it doesnt do much for the tC. just get which ever one you think looks the best. Personally I have the TRD

 

TRD has that new black chrome bar, which looks pretty sweet. It won't physically do anything any of the other bars don't do, of course. Except cost more.

I have a Hotckis bar, I personally would go with DC Sports
