guys please help me find this guy. this was posted ealier on clubsciontc.com and disgusts me that someone in out community would do something like this.

"I am looking for the owner of Electric Blue Scion TC that was involved in a hit and run accident on Rt23 south in Wayne NJ, as known as Newark Pompton Turnpike on 4/28 at about 5:15PM. The car has tinted windows and a spoiler. There are only 2600 made a year..so I am guessing that there are not many in North Jersey. I am offering $1000 in cash for the name and address of the owner. The driver stopped and got out of the car to look at his damage and then took off. He hit my pregnant wife's car. There are plenty of witnesses but could not get the Plate number. The car does have NJ tags. Please leave email address for contact. Please do the right thing. "

I hope that guy gets caught/reported to the police soon, reward or no reward. I hate irresponsible and cowardly drivers who just run off like that. Nweiz, best of luck man. I hope your wife and your baby are fine.

damn i hope your wifes ok. it sucks that people are such di*ks sometimes that really messed up. i know a lot of people in north jersey around that area ill ask some people.

Thanks youngflyer for the post. The damage to the electric blue/ darl blue Tc is going to be to the front passenger side

 

I live pretty much right on route 23, close to wayne and pompton lakes which is exactly where this must have happened. Im almost 100% i can find out who this is and at least get a plate number. My dadas also a cop so that should help.

I need more info though, land marks, and type of details you left out.

 

The accident happened about 3 miles above Hooters.....on Route 23 South also know as Newark Pompton Turnpike. It is in a residential area and the other nearest landmark is a a Doukin Donuts. Traffic was heading towards Wayne/Willow Brook. The Sicon damage will be to the right passenger side. The car that it hit was a tan ford taurus. Sicon was is in the left lane. Again it is either a dark blue or electric blue tc...with tinted windows and a spolier. From most of the post from other sites....not many blue tc with darf tinted windows in northern nj. It did have NJ plates. With the rain and the traffic conditons, plenty of wintess...but not plate #. Can help I would appreciate. This is already cost over $3000...with tow, insurance deductable, and hopsital insurace deductable.

 

The townn that it happened is considered Cedar Grove....it overlaps Wayne, NJ

 

sounds almost like hamburg turnpike,
but i dont know where a dunkin donuts is on 23 that far down past the hooters, theres the VW dealership and a bunch of other ****, im gonna have to do some investigating

 

The only Hooters I know near 23 is the one right by Willowbrooke mall.. and there is a DD on service road right after the exit for 23.. I see tC around here all the time. I live on 23 and got to the gym on 23 so I up and down 12 mile of rt23. I'll keep my eyes open for this car.. I hope they don't get the damage fix before they are back on the road.. A hole should have stopped.. accidents are forgivable.. running for one is not.

 

the hooters he is talking about i believe is the one up 23 right past Butler, and I just remembered that there is indeed a tiny DD drive thru across on 23 south. its about a half mile north of the home depot thats on 23 northbound side

 

could you call some body shops around that area.. cause this guy will probably want to fix this ASAP..

 

I think I have seen that tC before .. if the one I'm thinking about ita always parked in haskel on Ringwood ave. At a pizza place that next to a bagel shop.. I have asked about that tc before on here and its doesn't seem to be on here.

 

The wife and babay? okay? don't everyone look at me cuz i own an RS2.
