Let me guess...someone has asked this question before
well, i just signed up and as my first act i am going to prepare to be flamed by the jaded-hatingnewbies-scionlife old-time crowd.
here goes: (and i'm sure everyone will tell me it's a stupid question and that i should use the search function--which i did multiple times and can't find the answer).
i want to put new wheels/tires on my 2008 tc.
the best choices seem to be in the 35mm offset (versus the stock 45mm)
i'm thinking about 8 or 8.5" width.
19 or 18 inches diameter.
i have trd springs.
and now, finally
, the question:
what will i need as far as wheel studs and/or bolts to make the 35mm offset work? if the factory studs are set up for the 45mm offset, do i need new (longer) studs?
any help would be appreciated from the experienced crowd (which i'm sure is doing this right now:
)

i guess you do not know what "offset" of a wheel is.
it got nothing to do with your studs or bolt. it is the "the distance from the mounting pad to the centerline of the wheel."
you should read ou on this

offset is simply the distance from the center to the part that's secured onto the studs. it's only when you use 10mm+ spacers that you need new studs.
