Hey guys and gals it has been about a month now since I got my Scion tC turbo charged and a lot has happened. We got through the break in period nicely I have already put almost 2k miles on my tC with the turbo on. The shop made some adjustments as some of the IC hoses came off and on of the little flanges had a small oil leak. These things have been fixed and the prototype is no longer a prototype.

If you are looking to get a turbo on your scion please give my good friend bob a call.

He is still interested in sponsoring an xA and xB.

As for another turbo tC he will do it but only one got sponsored and that was me hehe, however if you are seriosu about getting one please give him a call and tell him you know josh and that you want a Turbo on your tC tell him about getting you a better price in exchange for publicity.

Yea the fitting was leaking and as for the downpipe on the tuurbo hes changing it to a nice curved flow down pipe without that stop and go corner hehe.

The car was runing real sweet though its real fast.

Call Bob he says that he is going to sell the kit near to 4grand if not more but tell him we are in the same club or something and see if he cuts you a break!

Yea I know about the Partial Sponsorship with the xB and xA's.

I got hooked up so that was cool but the next ones were going to be a semi sponsorship. Still beats paying for the factory supercharger or even a full priced aftermarket turbo kit :idea:

Where are the pics and dynos and such? This car had to have been on the dyno at least for 30+ runs while tuning and tweaking was going on. There has to be something to post. =)

what qualifications must you posess to be able to be considered? any way to be a full sponsorship? what brand turbo does he use? what kinda fuel management does he use?

WELL YOU ARE BEING A DICK! Go to the Novemeber meet pictures on the forums main page if you check out the pics there are pictures of my scions turbo on there. I havent dynoed the car for one reason. The Turbo kit is new on my car and I am supposed to break it in before I can go boost happy gunning my motor. You think it makes any sense to gun my motor with the turbo just to blow it to find out how much power its putting out. Some people are just so ignorant.

If you really want to find out about my car call the shop owner and ask him do you have josh's scion tC there and did you make the changes. He has my car till today or saturday morning. I cant pick it up till the weekend because I work monday through friday and hes in van nuys im in ventura county. OK if you still want more proof ask the guys that posted on here talking about it some of them saw my car at a meet.

So you can race a s2k, but can't dyno the car? A dyno would be the first thing to do to make sure the car was safe to boost.

Yea I raced that S2K after I had put over 1200 miles on my car and that was exactly about 2 days before I took it back to the shop it was on teh freeway and this car is screaming fast when its already rolling!

thats horrible, i keep hearing that its only weeks away...horrible !!

i want specs, pictures, and dynos before i call anyone. i know if i had built a turbo kit for a car that doesnt have a kit out for it yet, i would market it like a mother.

i've heard that rev hard kits are actually quite good a friend of mine has one on his s2k and he loves it 7psi on stock internals lots of grin time.!!! 8)

We will be offering Production kits end of Jan 05. Im in the middle of having all the flanges made now and trying to design an IC that will actually fit w/o cutting the bumper support and still allow the use of the fog lights. There is alot of space there but things like the bumper support and foglights make it difficult to put a nice sized IC in the car so that our kit will be possible to go over 450whp with supporting mods. The fuel system has already been taken care of for 6-10psi. Any more than that will require and pigtail harness and an AEM EMS that we offer for the car too.

The kit will have a stainless & coated manifold, Tial WG, choice of HKS/Greddy S/TurboSmart BOV/Downpipe to factory exhaust/IC/PrecisionTurbo SC32/Aluminum Polished piping/Digital FMU/Fuel pump/oil feed and drain.....

Pricing will be comparable to 90% of the kits out there for other cars.....

This is not a sale pitch either.....but any of you guys that want to watch our project as its built you can go to our WebSite and follow along....

Wasn't there a rumor going around that Greddy was going to be releasing a bolt-on turbo kit for the tC soon.

so what exactly are the hp gains for the turbo in this topic??? and were any intternals changed out or performance cluth added.......... kinda hard to take it serious withouot a legitiment dyno and pics of the set up.... not to call out b.s. but this is a brand new car, its not a civic so im pretty interested to see what your offering here...

I dont have a kit im so full of it and I led you on I am just full of BS and lies so just forget about me ever saying I had one. Just wait for more shops and companys to come out with their own and ask them about the gains and what not or go get ripped off by tc tunerz. :rofl:

Guys I promise once I get my exhasut system hooked up I WILL DYNO my car but till then I dont want to do it because I will have to pay and besides the shop that is doing my ride will end up dynoing the car anyway. Hmmm is Dynoing a word? Sounds kinda flimsy!

refer to your first post and read it back to yourself and realize how stupid it sounds..... its like me going to my car club and saying "hey look at my turbo... but dont ask me about a dyno or my 1/4 time difference or if its even hooked up yet cuz i need to break in my car... its like a worthless post...... LMAO at the haters like you would turn down a free turbo kit. I dont really give a crap what you think I got hooked up and thats final. I know if I wanted to I could boost high and have great output but I didnt really want it for racing im past that I just need a daily driver and with the turbo its sweet. I used to have a Twin Turbo Z and I traded it in for the car when I was offered the turbo kit as a sponsorship I took it because I missed the extra power. unfortunately some people do get turbos for accessories.. how many ppl with hondas have turbos and you ask em whyd you go turbo they say.. i like the blow off valve.. it sounds cool... ive seen taquitos car... ITS FAST so chill.. dont get all butt hurt cuz he didnt put it on the dyno yet.. for him its a waste to do it now without his exhaust.. and who cares if he decides to post up about it and not put dyno charts or what not... sometimes we all get excited and want to post what we got but dont get around to posting other facts.. lay off guys.. they will be here in time

what im sayin is coming on here trying to get business for a friend that hooked him up with a turbo with no dyno, no numbers is just stupid....... i wont let anybody put anything on my tc unless i know its legit... and the way he talks dont sound legit to me, specially since it takes a couple of dynos and alot of tuning to get the perfect setting on this car....... good for him that he got a turbo on his tc for free.... but id rather have a flawless set up with test and numbers, then just something somebody just whipped up for free......
