Default Will newer tCs have the sunroof problem fixed?

I'm planning on order a scion tC within a week and I was wondering if I would have to get the sunroof pop problem fixed still, or would it be already fixed?

thanks

Considering I've had mine for 4 months and noticed the problem all of 3 times (most recently about 3 months ago), I wouldn't worry too much.

i think i know the problem, hopefully. it's not the sunroof, its the liner on the ceiling. on various parts of the cove, velcro is supporting it. and sticky tape is holding the velcro. when i pulled on it, it came off easily and make a similar sound. so maybe while you hit bumps, the tape is seperating and making noise. not sure if it's the problem, but hopefully theres a simple solution. i love the car but can't freakin stand the noise.

If the 2006 still has it, I would RUN, not walk away..they have had plenty of time to fix all the issues....

I have yet to hear any popping or any noise from my sunroof . Actually I have not encountered any of the problems I have read on this site. My car is exactly what I expected it to be.

I think most people have commented that the popping comes and then mysteriously goes away. It it more of a problem with the RATTLE which my local dealer fix. He did the TSB but it still rattled. He fooled around some more with it and finally fixed it. Not sure what he did but he is considered the dealer's moonroof expert as many cars with sunroofs have rattling problems.

Even if Scion fixes the "06" moonroof with the TSB there might still be a rattle needing fixing.

Mine has no pops or rattles. The VIN serial number is somewhere around 16,500.
