Default Im looking to buy this car....

but was wondering. The price seems a little too good to be true. Now I notice the grill is different and missing the badge. The rear is not missing the badge. If someone wanted to clean it up wouldnt they take them all off? The color also doesnt look the same as other pics Ive seen, but could be lighting or the camera. Will you guys check out the link and tell me if you think its been wrecked and rebuilt possibly? Its and 08 w/ 4,096 miles on it.

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...eadExists=true

P.S. Nobody go steal this car! If its on the up and up Im ready to pounce tomorrow!

P.P.S. This is a great site. Ive learned a ton in just a few hours! Thank you all!

From the posting it looks like a car being sold at a dealership so if you're worried about it, you could probably just drive out and check it out.

And yeah, aftermarket grills come badgeless...

it looks legit to me as well..it may be a lil cheaper because of teh aftermarket parts. The color looks a lil dark but its a really hard call with that color...I think its just the lighting though...it looks like an overcast day with teh sun just breaking through so i could understand why its soo dark looking

Actually I do believe that color is Black Cherry Pearl, a more purplish color, not so much red...

Looks like the exhaust is Injen also, not sure if you would like the sound, unless your looking for a fast and furious sound.

Wow, that's a new one. I wanted to get my tC in Great Deal Plum, but in the end I settled for Slightly Overpriced Gray.

You sure it wasn't Overproduced Grey? I heard Slightly Overpriced Grey was the RS4.0 color.

It does look like a good deal. That is cheaper than tC's with more mileage and older years from what I have seen. Its also Sizzling Crimson Mica it replaced BSP. But go check it out and get a carfax, GL man.

I looked at an 06 yesterday for 12k with only 22k miles. It was also very clean but was an automatic. As much city driving I do (350 miles a week just commuting for work) I still think this car would be a shame to get without a manual.

I also have another question. If I get the 08 it would basically still have all of its factory warranty left. I searched online and read that the warranty stays with the car. But what about after there have been mods? Do some of them void the warranty?

TURBO will kill your warranty but i think other then that most mods are okay and dealership cant say no unless they can prove it was your mods that has caused the problems to the car.

If it is going to be a dealership sale I am sure they would remove any item they are not willing to warranty, like the Injen axle back.
