View Full Version : My Bad Experience with NST Non Stop Tuning

Hey people im opening this Topic because i have a situation with NST ( I made an special order of the pulley kit for the scion xb 1st gen. in January 3 that cost $212. ( I pay with paypal)
They email me telling it gonna take 6 weeks shipped because is an special order. I wait 8 weeks and I email them. They tell me that unfortunately one of the pulleys that was built for my order has been damaged during the final stage of production. That they have started work on a new pulley for my order and expect to have a package ready for you within the next couple weeks. That was in march when they wrote me that last email. I reply them more than 10 times since then and I never recieved an email. I try to open a case with paypal they told me is too late. This is for you guys I hope nobody else had this experience with them thx........ Angel

I pm him once and he told me its a special order it gonna take time but that was like 2 months ago and since that I email him and didnt reply either

they just did the big group buy on s/c pulley that takes time, that could have delayed the parts

NST is online all the time, simply use AOL or PM here on the forum, It is never hard to get ahold of them for anything. The guys at NST are stand up people, if there was a production issue, even a small scratch, he would not sell it. Quality before qty on special orders.

As stated, Simply pm him on this forum or message him via aim. Always easy to contact.

I install the Aol instant messenger today and talk to a representative. He told me the piece was goin to be ready in 12 days and goin to be shipped in 15days. Im trusting on what he told me and I hope to get the piece in at least 20days. I will keep updating the status and what hppened in the next 15 days.

That is crazy ridiculous. Even 2 months is too long for a custom made part. Why was the money not refunded back to him while he waited for the part to be made. By now he should be entitled to some interest on that money. I say give up on them demand Paypal do something for you. That is what they get paid for.
Get a pully from someone that actually stocks them. :lalala:

Is too late for me to get a refund by paypal. He told me he was goin to send it in 15 days since 5/5/08 so Im trusting on his word. If he dont send it everybody will know here what happen and he will not like that.

if you paid through paypal and used a credit card the card will get you results. call the customer service for your credit card and let them in on your situation. they will take the money back from paypal and then it will be paypal's headache.
I always use a credit card going through paypal then I'm double protected :) :)

I always use a credit card going through paypal then I'm double protected :) :)Are you sure about that Steve? I was under the impression that you wave the right to dispute a charge when it goes thru Paypal. That is why I had to open a seperate debt card account to use for paypal.
Now I'm confused. :nails:

From what i understand if your credit card is informed that you did not receive a purchased item they will reverse the charges, ie; take it from paypal, that's why when ever you want to change funding sources to purchase something you have to go through hoops to get to use a diff source. paypal does not want the headache. now a debit card may be different, but if your credit card has purchase protection they will reverse the charges they don't car who.

If it was coming now you should have been able to have a routing number given to you.... which you should have demanded on this one. I am with Jeff start breathing and do not hold your breath. You will need it when you call them again.

From now on... please do dispute these types of charges with your financial institution.

Working in the dispute department of a federal credit union, myself, I see these types of transactions all the time. If you were banking with us and the promised date of delivery went over by ONE day, the money would have been refunded to your account the next day (by your request) and Paypal would have had to fork out the money.

"Non receipt of merchandise." ... Visa regulations!

Now... what's the update? Did you get it?

I smell a refund like a sweet potato pie in the window on a hot summer day!

Better go get it... I don't care how busy or how big of a group buy a company had, no "paying" customer is to be left in the dirt. They could have at least apologized and offered to cancel your order and refund you the money. I would have had VISA all over their a$$... but that's just me.

I really do hope they make good on their transaction with you. From what I've heard on this forum and based on their company profile, they don't seem like a bad company.

I am guessing their suppier has been to busy to make their limited amount of pulleys because they make the same pulley under a different name that takes precedence.....

Ok I talk today with NST representative and we got into a deal. Unfortunately the color on the pulleys was wrong. I order a BLUE kit and they made the alternator pulley in BLUE and the crank pulley in GRAY and they have RED too. They told me if I didnt want it, I will get a full issue refund but I need this kit because the damper of my oem crank pulley mess up. So for me was ok and I took the blue and red pulley and the 25 dollar refund. I received today the $25 and they told me Im supposed to get the kit in 4 days. So when I recieve it I will let u guys know

ok people I recieved the kit on saturday at 3:00pm. I install the crank pulley yesterday and soon I will install the alternator pulley(I didnt have the tools to do it). Well thx a lot people for your support and If I didnt do this maybe I'll never recieve it thx a lot. Angel
