Default Updated pics of my modded JLEVI projectors

So as many of you know I got these headlights as a gift from my GF.

First I took them apart and painted them white:

While they were apart I fixed the cut off from this:

To THIS:

And here is an idea of what the light output on the road is like :

Tell me what you think. If anyone else has these headlights and has any questions let me know. They can be fixed... just takes some time

Those are 6K HIDs by the way.

Actually the output is better than that picture shows. I know that aftermarket projectors don't do much for light output but I was showing how it was improved, not OEM perfect. Furthermore, I am simply trying to make due with what I have at this point. I'm not saying my car has the BEST light output ever, never did and never will. But short of a very costly and time consuming retro fit project, I feel that what I've done with these lights has taken them from terrible to tollerable.

As far as fixing them goes, the driver side cut off plate needs to go down on an angle toward the center of the car. The passenger's side can be cut pretty much straight with a slight angle up toward the far right side.

What I mean is they should look something like this...

Thanks. Now back to my projectors and the light output issue. I was thinking about modding a stock (used) reflector into the bowl of the projector. Would this help my light output? The reason why I'm asking is because the bowl that comes in these projectors is terrible and I think that is why I'm getting such poor output. Any feedback?

you might want to take this to HIDPlanet.com/forums. Alot more retrofit guru's that can help with this issue. custom shield and bowl if possible. Won't know untill we see some pics of the internals.

They came out nice! The cutoff is great but light distribution/hot spots are apparent

LOL... thanks for the feedback. Obviously your 6k hids are a much different color than my 6k hids. And well... at least I'm not blinding people.

Yes, I know about the hotspots... that is why I want to try modding the bowl. I think the lense is fine, but the bowl is what bothers me. I will keep working.
