I ordered a set of lug nuts a few weeks ago for my 08 tC. The ones I ordered are 12x1.5 but they are the "spline acorn" type. I do not know very much about lug nuts, but when I went to put them on my car I noticed how different they were from my stock lugs (I still have my stock wheels). They dont look like they would be very safe on my car because of the difference due to the washer that is on the stock lugs. It looks almost as if I could pull the wheel off with the spline lugs on. Does anyone have these type on their stock wheels or know if they will work with the stock wheels? Thanks in advance!

 

they are not very save, the acorn style are for aftermarket wheels ONLY you need to get the flat style for your stock wheels

 

the type lug nut we have for stock wheels are shank style.

p.s. do not use acorn style on stock wheels, it's dangerous.
