Okay, not a drift forum, but lots of friends do it, I love watching it, and I know a few people here do as well. So lets PLEASE help bring it back, even if you aren't a fan of Drifting, if you are a motorsports fan or love to mod cars (yes all of you!) then sign it because in the end all this is going to do is HURT the sport compact community. When the chance to legally do something is taken away, it won't stop. It will simply relocate to the street. Once the police turn onto it, then they will start to notice modded cars more, and just have another reason to pull us over. Profiling or not, they are the law, and you can't beat it so lets help prevent that.

Due to a series of unfortunate events, Portland International Raceway has discontinued the Drift Invasion series.

Over the years these events have grown into a great way for people from across the northwest to experience drifting in a safe and legal environment. The loss of this series will unfortunately lead to an increase of Street Drifting, increasing the chances for injuries and destruction of property.

Please support Drift Invasion by signing this petition, only together can we regain the privilege of drifting on the finest track in the northwest.

lol same thing they did with skateboarding. but now look they have skate parks. we need a drift park

I'd like to see an e-petition that ever did anything.

I read up on this, and they discontinued the whole thing because it became unruly and Unatural was having problems keeping reasonable order at the events. PIR has every right to not host the events; I wouldn't want to deal with the negative press that would come to the track from a serious problem that resulted from this event.

Maybe instead of petitioning PIR to allow the series to continue without addressing any of their concerns, you should petition Unatural to bring in more track officials and have a more organized event.
