Ok here is my scenario - I have toyos right now and they are almost gone. I'm looking to get a nice set of summer (ish) tires. I plan to put a supercharger in soon so I really need to figure out what tires are going to get me good grip on the road so I'm not squealing in 2nd gear because of the awesome front wheel drive.... Winter means nothing, so disregard winter conditions. I have my Jeep for the winter. I have 18's on the car now. What else would you need to give a good recommendation?
Thanks in advance!!

If you're looking for good summer tires consider either the BF Goodrich KDW2s, Falken Azenis RT-615 (incredible performance for the $), Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R... probably a few others I haven't thought of... but I've run both the KDWs and now the Falkens and I have to say that for the $, the Falkens win.

now if you are to hit it in first, do they really stick to the ground? I'm tired of the squealing (although my tires are pretty bald at this point so it's a given)

No matter what tires you get, you're gonna lose grip in first, especially if you're gonna run the S/C. 200hp/200tq to 1 wheel is a lot of power for a single tire to overcome. If money isn't a concern, I suggest BFG G-Sport, Falken Avensis 615, or Yoko Advan's.
If you really wanna get grip on launch, get an LSD.

I definately agree with that assesment. I wish our tC's came stock with an LSD.

honestly, i dissagree with who ever said potenze re01rs, thoes are our drift tires. youll have very little traction in the rain.

hahahaha.. WHAT!!?!?! no offense.. but obviously you've never tried drifting with those tires. you simply cant... wait no.. you can.. but that's not what they're for. not only have i drive on these tires but it's supported by Tirerack.com and many others as a great dry traction tire. granted you may only get about 8k out of them. either way. if you're looking for a great tire... like i said. the F1s.. hands down.. reo1r s are a close second.

I would look at the Toyo T1R, Falken FK452 and Sumitomo HTRZIII. They are all very good summer tires.
