Keeping stock wheels shiny
I was looking at possibly getting new wheels, but I get a lot of comments STILL on the stock ones so I figure I would just try to keep them in good shape. Now it's been almost 4 years with these wheels and they are starting to show their age enduring Minnesota winters. They're not in BAD shape or anything at all - just a bit dull. Anyone have any tips for shining them back up? Do they have clear coat on them?
As far as I know, rims are painted the same way cars are painted. Yes, they're also clearcoated.
You can try clay bar and cleaner wax to bring back the shine. And I was told we also need to wax them every now and then. That's what I do on my stockies.

So just as well take a power drill with a polish ball on the end with some race glaze or something?
