vlave stems?
i was jsut checking my tire pressure and noticed that two of the valve stem caps (one on each side) fit differenty than the other two
by fit different i mean they do not screw on to the valve stem as far as the others
i was wondering if that has anything to do with the pressure sensors and if so if it only "reads" two of the tires
one is on the front right one os on the rear left
also if you check the owners manual it tells you to rotate the tires front to rear, rear to front on the left and the same on the right, now this is how you rotate them if you have directional tires but our potenzas as far as i know are not a directional tire.
take a look at your car if you have stock wheels and tell me if yours are the same way
thanx

The tC doesn't have an actual sensor for the tire pressure. It uses the rotational sensor that the ABS computer uses. A tire that is low on air will rotate slower than a wheel that has more air. That is why you only are alerted if a tire is low, and you don't see an actual pressure reading.
First off, the caps on the valve stems don't really matter. They keep dirt out and keep the valve stem from potentially being damaged, but really aren't necessary. Second, they don't seem to screw down all the way. Just how they are.
Incidentally, I got new tires, and when you do that they give you new valve stems. I got mine at discount tires and the stems seem to be metal with a shiny finish that matches the wheels - very nice! Oh... the caps screw down all the way too

A tire with less pressure, and thereby a smaller diameter, will be rotating faster than the other tires.

i didnt post it because i was worried, i know a lot more about cars then that.
I was just curios when i was checking my pressure why only two would screw down all the way, it was just something i noticed so dont be mean to me
