what do yall think about this kit???

http://www.airliftcompany.com/easystreet/scion/scion.jpg

and here are 2 emails I got from them

Complete front kit which includes: 2 air struts with 9-way dampening adjustment, a rear kit which includes: bags and brackets. You also get our best air management system we offer. This includes a 5 gallon D.O.T. approved tank, 8 3/8" 300 psi chrome valves, all D.O.T. nickel plated fittings, 1/2" D.O.T. airline, 2 dual 200 psi gauges with chrome bezels, a 200 psi 100% duty chrome compressor and all the electrical wire and terminals you will need. Everything also comes with a 1 year warranty against manufacture defects.

The compressor is a Viair compressor. The air bags are manufactured by us. This system is a fbss. You can mount the gauges anywhere you like. A lot of people buy a pillar pod and put them in that. The five gallon tank probably won't fit under the car but I offer a 2 gallon tank that will.

its by easy street air

let me know what yall think, if you check out the site you will see that you can get the front bags and the back bags, and then the tank and compressor and stuff and seperate. should I get part of this kit and then get my own tank and compressor or does this look kick ___? an does anyone know about them as a company?

*ding dong*:) Easy Street is made by Air ride Tech. I think, and I have used there setups before. Very simple to install if they are a bolt on and sounds like good stuff to me. The only ting I would ask about is what the flow rate of the compressor is, but if it is a Vair, you should be good(the make the best air compressors for air ride. Only thing I want to see now is that price, that is the big thing with this kit, but all and all sounds like a good steup. Someone new to get one of these, COUGH COUGH WILL:) hope this helped some

:edit:Sorry didn't see the link, that price is not that bad really, I'd have to do some research and see if you can get a better price

littlr side note, i know eric m had a 5 gal tank under his car, and he did not move the charcol box, but if you do move it you can fit two of them under there

yeah it'll fit if sideways. if you try and mount it with the brackets on the tank it gets like an inch or so lower.. besides i honestly wouldnt mind a tank in the car as long as the pump stay outside

Some 5 gal tanks won't fit, some will. I am not sure which ones will and which won't. I am pretty sure it related to the feet on the tank. So be careful. It can become the lowest point on the car and will drag.

I have no room in my car, system in the back, xbox under the seat and invertor under the other

This kit is pretty good. I love the fact they went with a airstrut on the front rather then the ____ty air cylinders.

They also have kits that are really more then you need. My advice would be to buy the brackets and get a airmanagment kit somewhere else.

When I get mine I will definitaly be using the front airstruts from this kit but as far as the back goes Im still not sure.

good question, if you are saying that it is the only downside to the kit, what should I go with?

www.suicidedoors.com Has the best airmanagment kits. Most the time if you take to the companies they will build one for you, like if you want tanks under the car get 2 3 gallon tanks. And fittings you need BRASS COMPRESSION FITTINGS I wont use anthing else. All these ktis come with ptc fittings (push to connect) nothing holds them in and if you hit a bump and the bag compresses to more then 200psi the hose shoots out of the fitting.

I can put kits together myself alot cheaper then most kits cost using all chrome tanks chrome viair compressors, brass fittings, and all the other BS

just from what I read, and know, I would like 2 viair 200psi compressors(james you know me, and that I would give one the work out, look at how I drive) and as you said 2 3 or 4 gal tanks. I think I will end up getting the bags from this kit, who knows when though, dominos only pays $5.50. i'll start getting a list together, and then run it by you to make sure I have everything. let me know on anything you can get cheap

ive had bagged trucks and cars for years, depending where u live i would go for manual valves, they arent as fast but they wont freeze in the winter
and dont bag it unless u can find accumulators, otherwise u will hate the ride

Thats tru but since this is a Full air strut set up and not cylinders it should be a nice ride.. Ive had a 99 s10 bagged and a 00 z24 cavalier bagged.. the cavalier had cylinders in the rear with air struts in the front and accumulators were def needed on the cavy.. teh s10 rode really well with just air bags

when running air bags you do not really needa accumulator. Cylinders I can understand. I had a 99 s-10 bagged as well and I thought the ride on the truck was the best it ever rode.

The kit for sale what size bags are being used? They look like 800lb sleeve bags. It says 4.5" drop in the front and 5" drop in the rear but how about the lift? Compared to stock how much lift does it give you?

hotbox05
12-03-2004, 07:39 PM
probably not much higher than stock. but thats fine with me cuz ya know ya never really need higher than stock. i'm kinda a newbie to air. so how would this kit ride? would i still be able to rip ___ thru the turns? hmmmmm i cant wait til i pay of my credit cards some. nice!

i am looking into this since i am tired of the horrible ride from the springs i have tried. i know air is more bouncy, but atleast it will do better over bumps
