Default Brake Light

hi guys. i was driving my car on the back roads the other day and decided to punch it from a stop. as the car took off i noticed that the brake light turned on for a few seconds and then it turned off. has this happened to anyone else? could this possibly be caused due to the lack of a grounding kit? please let me know if you guys have experienced this and any resolutions. thanks.

means your brakes are low, you either need more brake fluid, or brake pads.

so the brake light turning on wasn't caused by some electrical shockwave going through my car when my tires peeled right? hmm...

correct, it is the car letting you know that either the brake fluid or brake pads are low and you need to change one or both of them. it is not the result of some kind of electrical shockwave form peeling out unless you did something to your car and messed up the electronics or the grounds.

you can search if you want to, many people have asked about this. so check your brake fluid and pads, replace them as necessary, and it will go away.
