Found a vertical dent on my door today right below the body line. Now I am going to have to get PDR again (already had it once). I will never get to mod my car, because I keep spending so much money just to maintain it stock. I hate people and their lack of courtesy and respect for other peoples property. Plus I am out of work. Sometimes I really wonder if it is worth it to even care about anything. I am done ranting. Sorry everyone.

I hear you on that. No matter how far I park my car away from a store, someone will drop out of the sky and park right next to me. I am the type of person where I will walk really far just to not be next to people and it still hasn't paid off. I am just really low right now. I am trying so hard to afford this car, I love it so much, but I can't even enjoy it because things like this happen. I just feel like I am getting nowhere. I wanted to do so many things to it, and I can't even do one. I am sorry to be a whiner and complainer. I really am. But why does bad things happen to good people all the time.

 

good luck man, i feel you on this. i have about 4 little mini dents from shopping carts and doors. it will all work out tho. I always go thru times like this where i get depressed cuz i feel like i have no money and am only maintaining instead of modding. it will all work out tho! good luck!

 

I feel your pain man. In J-ville here the entire interstate system around here (not exaggerating, all 360 degrees of 95 bypass including I-10 and 95 are under construction so after 3 years of owning the car my front bumper looks like a war zone with chips and scratches as well as a couple little dents on my doors from rocks getting chucked sideways out of truck tires. I think at how frustrated and angry I get about a 18K car and imagine what I would do if it were a Ferrari or something. Good luck on getting it fixed and at least its below the line so they may be able to "pop" it rather than full body work.

 

I've donkey kicked the hell out of somebody's door. I parked decently far away from anybody and when I came out of the store there was a fresh dent and somebody parked right next to it so when I opened my door I kicked the hell out of it and I felt 10x better but it was still dented.

 

man, someone hit my driver's side rear bumper while i was parked at school. Still haven't got that touched up. lol

 

Don't get me wrong this isn't the only thing that has happened, this is just the icing on the cake. I had one dent removed already, my front bumper is destroyed after 1 year from rock chips, and my windshield is all pitted, looks like it has been sandblasted. But I know those other things are normal wear and tear, but dents from other people being careless shouldn't happen, especially those that do it and leave. I guess I have had too much more serious stuff happen in my life and now little stuff like this takes me over the edge.

 

A week after i had my car i had a dent in my front bumper. I was like WTF a week your kidding me. Sorry to hear man. Gl with eveything and try to keep you head up as bad as it may feel.

 

Well I know this may not help.........but at least you are not me...............my wife had to have emergency surgery in December.........in April my brother in law took his life and I had to pay to get him laid to rest.......then a week later my work car with 75000 well maintaned miles blew the engine..........so now I had to sell a crapload of my personal stuff on ebay to get the downpayment for a new car..........life gives us dents..........cuss it off and get it fixed when you can.......I hate people in parkign lots with a passion.............NY must be a nightmare.......

 

dang, sorry dude. but yeah life has it's ups and downs. yeah after getting my bumper hit. i always try to get an end spot. my bumper's not that bad though not dented. just needs a touch up. but yeah, im not gonna worry about that yet. i want mods. then a new paint job XD

 

lol some times i would cone off the other parking spaces or park at a store that does little retail sales and walk
my other friends take up more then one space but thats just asking to be keyd

 

damn i have a few dents from dumb **** people, once i went to an amusement park, and the group i went with took two cars, mine and my girls car..we get there and park next to each other so no one else could hit our cars,, then this stupid girl who was in the other car, gets out a hit my car with the door, needless to say i ruined her day.

 

Completely feel you on this, for some reason people like parking next to cars that are far far away and alone

 

LOL that sucks. yeah, im afraid of fighting for parking spots.. cause people get keyed for getting to a spot first.. and that sucks. or atleast i think those people that didn't get the spot did it to my friend.

 

i feel the same way, my car would have been done a few months after i bought it, body kit and what ever else i was going to do but ppl dont rrspect what others have, ive spent sooooo much money to fix the car after being keyed countless times i just get frustrated and depressed because i cant get my car the way i want it.

 

i feel ya man. the other day i parked in this huge lot, way wayyy in the back. the lot was split into two sections, the one near the building was packed, the one further out was pretty much empty except for 1 or 2 cars. so i go park in the last spot under the only tree there. i get out of the building an hour later and see this dumb _____ park right next to me in her matrix. there was seriously 500+ empty spots all around me, but she had to pick that one right next to me. on top of that when i park against a curb i park very close to it, leaving a good 2-3 ft for whoever may park next to me to open their door. she decides to park on the fking yellow line leaving less than a foot of space, pretty much invading MY space. ____ed me the hell off. i made sure her driver side tires were nice and deflated before i left.

and yes, taking up two spaces is just asking to be keyed. unless the lot is ginormous and you park way the hell back.


edit: just a note i didnt slash her tires, i used my keys and deflated them via valve stems.
