Headlights and bumper removal....
Is it possible to remove/install headlight with the bumper on? I ask because about 6 months ago, the car was in a body shop for fender damage and a broken headlight. The headlight was obviously brand new so my main concern was the body work, which was poor. Long story short, car comes back a second time, the work is good, the snow starts falling, and I pay no more attention to it. NOW, while washing and waxing, I notice the headlight is not flush with the body on the bottom, like it has been knocked in about a quarter on an inch. Did these guys change the headlight without removing the bumper? Is there some sort of bracket that holds the bottom out so it stays flush with the body? I'm 99.9 percent sure they mickey moused the light in and out without bumper removal. Can you guys please give me an opinion before I remove the bumper, am I on the right track? Thanks in advance!!
some people (me included) have actually had the same problem from factory. there's a larger gap on one side than the other.
But i don't think it was that big of a gap...
and yes, of course the bumper can be removed...

You can't take the headlights out without taking the bumper off first. There's a bolt behind the bumper that needs to be removed and there are clips holding the bumper up on the headlight so no room to move. As for the gap, it seems like a normal thing if you're taken your bumper off before. I know mine is like that.
