Default trd option vs aftermarket SC?

If the TRD supercharger is going to be offered as option (eventually), is it going to be a toned down version? will there most likely be a better more powerful version put out by some other name brand company or possibly even another one offered by TRD?

good point. That's worth the loss in power right there.

Trust me when I say this... Aftermarket Turbo/Superchargers are nothing but headaches and will end up costing you a lot of time and money.

If toyota offers it and it's still under warrenty... Take it... It may seem expensive at first... but you wilk save a lot of $ in the long run.

Im sure Toyota will offer different performance packages for the TRD SC. Like different pullies, more fuel/tuneing. Its all a matter of time and how much money you got.

This is what I heard about the SC kit,

Of course the SC itself is installed. Then the ECU is reprogramed for more fuel and also the timeing is adjusted. Im sure its just a little box thats pluged in and a button is pushed. I dont really think someone is going to sit there and tune your fuel maps without being on a dyno.

It would be nice, but TRD USA has never offered stages that I know of.. This is their first every SC for a performance vehicle of any kind.
