I just painted my front and rear emblem flat black on my SW '08 TC...I must say that the '08 grill looks pretty good IMO with the emblem painted to match the flat black stock color of the grill. That combined with the rear one painted flat black on the SW with the windows blacked out looks really nice. Pictures to follow...

call me crazy but im not real big on the badgeless garnish. it just looks kinda empty to me. im all about having a badgeless grill. i painted my badges black a long time ago and the rear looked good but the front didnt look quite right. it looks better on the 08 grill than the honeycomb grilles.

I think it looks good. I agree, badgeless looks empty to me.

if the front bugs, you get an aftermarket grill like vrd and go badgeless,

or even better paint the vrd grill flat black ;) thats what I did and it looks fantastic.

now the question is how do you get the badge off? is it just like the tC emblem using fish line? I'm talking about the back garnish emblem.

is the scion logo only held on by the double sided tape?

Yup! Makes them easy to take on and replace! There are two little i guess you could call them rods that kinda hold the emblem in place but they do not affect anything when your taking them off.

do u guys recommend any good double sided tape brands or do they all get the job done cuz i dont want to take something out of my trunk one day and notice that all the badges are gone lol
