Default where are the synchros?

I know my synchros are bad on my TC. I want to know where the synchros are if I'm to upgrade my clutch fly wheel and get a short shifter would the synchros be part of any of these kits? maybe there is a synchros kit, also is it possible to switch the third gear since thats the one that's been grinding...If the synchros aren't gonna be part of any of those kits ill probably take it to the dealer for warranty services before adding the kits. I've got 4800k, 12k left on the warranty...I just want to know a little more about this before I go to the shop.

I found a link to d/l the shop manuals but didn't see anything labeled snchros maybe there just called something else?

the synchros are inside your transmission, so they would be covered by your powertrain warranty. take it in to get fixed BEFORE you do a clutch or the short throw shifter.

and if you have 4800K, that would mean you ahve 4,800,000, which would have to be a record. you meant to say you have 48k.

so no, unless you want to overhaul your transmission yourself, take it to the dealership to be done.

and wow, you don't know squat about cars...why are you adding all these parts if you don't even know what they do and what they replace?

it's pretty bad but I can mostly control it If I double clutch.
someone told me to make sure I'm pushing the clutch in all the way. If i get up to say 25 mph push the clutch down to the floor than move to third with out giving gas it will grind, never did this before and stared around 45k. I drive alote 500+ miles for work and 200+ personal miles a week but recently iv been cutting back on the personal driving gas it getting outrages

As mentioned, it requires disassembling the gearbox.

bumper to bumper warranty is 3 year, 36k miles, which ever comes first, that is true. but the power train warranty, as in the engine, transmision and drive shafts is 5 years or 60k miles, whichever comes first, so if there is a problem with his transmission, he is still covered.
