Default when do 09' TCs come out?

I just put a down payment on an 08 Tc but I aren't the 09's coming out? I would rather just get an 09 right now.

really doesn't make a difference if you buy an 08 or 09. there was another thread about "oh, you already get a whole year of depreciation buying an 08 when the 09 models are out. but that sort of thing doesn't bother me.

but i'd wait until the 09 come out, and get a new 08 since they will have rebates to help clear them out.

i took my friend to go buy her tC, she got nearly a grand off MSRP because she got an 07 instead of the 08. and if she really wanted to, she could use what she saved to buy the new headlights and tailights and put them on. lol.

anytime you buy a new vehicle late in its model year its a pretty sweet deal not only cuz you get rebates but also you get roughly 12k-15k miles for free which can make a considerable difference if u ever decide to sell, while everyone else with an '08 has those 12-15k miles after that year your startin at zero. of course if you buy an '09 your that sucker who whos startin your miles at the beginning of the year

To answer your ?, probably late May - mid June. That's when they've released the new model tCs in previous years.
If they haven't delivered your 'o8, have them transfer the down to an 'o9. If they really want your business, they
should do it without any penalties or restrictions.

She made wise choice with the lucky '07. I like the OEM lights. To me, I'm always going to remember the '07 represents the worst year of my life; 2007. Didn't make wise choices that cost me $$$ in the long run and everytime I look at my car its going to remind me of those mistakes.

well put. Alot of people dont think of that.

Imagine today looking to buy say a 1999 Eclipse. Would you buy the one with 80,000 miles or 100,000 miles??? which one would you pay more for? Same year same age, but form that owner buying it end of year, he will get a few grand more for it.

The 09's are out. They are the same price as the 08's and have an all black seat fabric.

To correct a few of you, the only rebates on Scions are for the college grad program and military rebate. They are both worth $400. The price drops you are seeing are dealer discounts. There is a major difference in the two because large rebates kill your resale value and you are taxed on rebates not discounts. Just thought I would clear up a few things.

Interesting theory, but which would you pay more for in this case?

1999 Eclipse with 80,000 miles or 2000 Eclipse with 80,000 miles. Just a thought....

Thats weird cause i'm not sure if my dealership had any 09's or any dealership around the portland area. Or, the dealership just doesn't know what they are talking about.

They know what they are talking about. They are playing dumb though. I have not brought any of mine to the dealership yet because I still 08 models. I would like to get rid of a couple of them before I bring the 09's in. They where allocated to dealerships just over a month ago and I have one of the longest transit times of 3 weeks after I release them from the port. In other words, they are hoping you don't know about them so you will buy an 08 model...

My car is coming from the port, it was just released on Friday. They didn't have any in Flint Mica so they had to get one from the port. They tried selling me one on the lot. So is there a possibility that if it's coming from the port it's an 09'?

Also, what should I be paying if it is an 08'? Shouldn't the price go down?

yea its an 09. and depending on the transit, i dunno how long that will take. i know for us it is about 2 weeks. no the 08s will not be any cheaper. like someone said the 09s just have that black interior change. unless you found a used one with miles, that be the only way.
