got a 05 PW xB, and what is that on the roof?
Hi All, I was a long time xB lover but didn't get the box 2 years ago while I had a chance, now that I moved to NYC, I sold my 2003 Accord V6 6 speed EX -L -Nav and downgraded to 05 PW xB. Already ordered Monroe shocks all around, but the stock ride is not that bad on the potholes of NYC compared to my Accord which bent one of the custom 18" rims.
Anyways, I was doing inspection yesterday and noticed a black round thing on the roof of the xB near the hatch, there is a wire from it that goes into the hatch hinge, when I open the hatch I saw that the wire was torn off at the hinge, couldn't find anything on SL about this, so what is it?
Also, what's the installation prices for front struts and rear shocks? I was quoted $300 and $200 at the inspection place which even the reception office lady was "wow" by the price.
thanks

That's actually the Sirius Satellite antenna. I had the same exact one on my box.
Is the wire really cut and it's just hanging there in the crease of the hatch door, or does it sort of disappear under the head liner? The reason I ask is because if it's still intact, you're all set to set Sirius radio anytime you want to without having to get everything wired up again. You can save a ton by not having to buy the unit and just pay for the subscription.
Congrats on your new box!!! :D
