It does look cool. I've seen it in person and it's nice.

best part is i got it off a guy that bought it and decided not to use it. got it for $80. i guess he just wanted to get rid of it. lucky me.

oh yeah, my friend found it on craigslist and told me about it. i emailed the guy right away and let him know i wanted it. so glad i was able to get it. Murbyrne, if you can get a hold of one, get it. it looks so nice on the car.

 

alright, i wanted to get one, but never realized they were so rare. I want it, but im not desperate or anything. Probably will pass since they are such a hard thing to find. BTW, i know you are going for the panda look, so did you have a BSP gas door cover before you put that on? Because if so, I might want it if you are willing to part with it.

 

check the newscionparts.com site to see if they have any. i didnt see anything on there about them not being available.

It does look rare. Can't say I've ever seen one in person, yet.
Just wondering, does anyone know if the gas cap is held
on with a cable? Or it looks like it might be hinged and swings out?

it uses double-sided tape and covers the oem gas cap. most ppl cut the cable that attaches the oem gas cap

 

Do you have to drill or anything for the clear fuel door?

 

It should really be riveted in.

 

you drill the old rivets out. take off the old gas door off. the new lid comes with 2 new rivets. just put them in your rivet gun and rivet them in. took me about 10 minutes to do.

 

that gas cap is pretty cool, and im definitely liking the fuel door.

 

yeah, when i first saw this i thought it was a whole new cas cap. i'm cool with it just being a cover for the original cap. it still looks really nice.

actually it was just a carbon fiber overlay. sorry man, dont have it anymore. i gave it to one of my buddies.

 

is there a transparent tC cover? excuse me for being to lazy to search

 

i dont think so. i've never seen one before. but i may be wrong.
