seems to good to be true
tc1stgen 05-21-2008, 02:58 PM Yeah I would like to know too. I have seen their commercials and your right, it does look too good to be true. If it were that easy, I think a lot of people would be out of a job!
guitartito 05-21-2008, 03:01 PM "i could save hundreds of dollars by choosing simoniz ;-)"
WAlterEgo 05-21-2008, 03:36 PM ahh! its billy mays :blah:

guitartito 05-21-2008, 03:45 PM if billy mays endorses it, it MUST be good. i love oxyclean!!
tc1stgen 05-21-2008, 03:54 PM I know he promotes everything it seems but I am still sckeptical, LOL!
KINGxOFxSKA 05-21-2008, 05:19 PM looks like all it is, is color sanding and a buff.

Jiggaman 05-21-2008, 11:33 PM tried it - seems to work alot better on light colors than dark
we didnt use it on my tc - we used it on my dads burgundy chev(worked not so well) and my moms white van(seemed to work ok)
works on very very minor stuff - but u take a piece of sandpaper and rub your hood your gonna be really dissapointed...
i didnt buy it, but my pops is addicted to buying stuff on late night infomercials...he said he saw this stuff on there and absolutley had to try it...haha
so if you had to buy it - i would probably use scratch X instead...
bnjx8 05-21-2008, 11:47 PM I am glad I read this thread and the reviews on this product. I as thinking about trying it before. But glad I didn't. I have some light scratches and swirl marks on the xB I used Meguiars ColorX, which is a polish and wax combo that takes out small scratches and swirl marks, and it worked fabulous. Even my wife noticed and felt a difference on the paint. I didn't use scratchX cause the scratches I had were just minimal. I swear by Meguiars products, not only for their quality but for the service the company provides. And they really do answer that 1-800 number on all their products.
Anyways, I am glad I didn't buy this stuff.
guitartito 05-22-2008, 02:15 AM Wow, im really really glad i posted this thread because i was seriously considering buyin that crap, after seeing reviews...wow, im better off touchin up my flint mica with dark grey model paint.
Dkfung88 05-22-2008, 07:00 PM lol or if they're minor scratches... use scratch x.. not touch up paint.. did that for my car... gross..
Wutachampion 05-22-2008, 08:22 PM i used the nu finish stuff, it works for minor scratches as well....

SengTC3 05-23-2008, 06:38 AM It must work since he's using it on a R8!.... I hear good things of scratch x

Mighty Putty is a complete ripoff of similar products available in the adhesive section of your hardware store.
Epoxy putty has been available for years...this douche bag advertises it like he invented a miracle.
