I guess twin/dual tip should be the correct wording. Your right, true duals would be pointless. Its just for looks to fill out the body kit I want.

I am about 225 miles post-install on this cat back and so far good.

The sound a low rpm's is pretty low with a nice rumble. At cruiding speeds above 45mph the exhaust note is a little harsher than stock, but again not raspy or cheap sounding.

The set up definitly sound a little more aggresive after some heat has transfered through the system.

If the sound opens up just a little more after a few more miles, I will be very pleased with it.

What are your experiences with break in mileages on these cat back systems in general?

Are you talking about substituting the high flow cat in place of the scuba tank? If so, does that mean you'll be running with no mufflers at all, since the borla system is just straight pipes?

shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :nails:

yes. i will be running a highflow cat in place of the scuba tank.
a 11.5 inch long one to be exact.
and it will have no mufflers however the place that will install it for me said he will pass me on inspection.

ill be supercharging next year might as well get a leg up on the exhaust set up now : ).

Why add the high flow? Are you not happy with the borla duals alone?

What was the break in period on that set?

hey Zsanz, what kind of hi flow cat are you getting? ceramic core or metallic core?
i've did some searching and some say the metallic core would be much better for higher flow and durabilty compared to ceramic core. i haven't mess w/any hi flow cat before so i'm not really sure which would be better. i've posted a few different links here
http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=232575
wonder which one would you prefer to use
