Default Cargo Area Dimensions for sub enclosure?

Alright. So I'm hoping someone can pop their trunk open, take a tape measure, and measure the length, width, and height of the cargo area, with the seats up, to the bottom of the headrests, and one height measurement that would simulate having the cargo cover. There are pictures of a cargo cover install here: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...ht=cargo+cover

For those of you not into car audio, imagine you'd be measuring for a rectangular box that would have to get in through the rear hatch, and the hatch be able to close, and fit between the wheelwells.

If you could hook me up with those figures, I'd be much greatful. I'm trying to decide on a subwoofer to compliment my Sundown SAZ-1500D amplifier, and whether I go with a 12" or 15" depends oh how much room I have to build a box.

Thanks!

i have the cargo cover and a custom box. quick tip. if you have your subs facing up towards the cover, that thing will rattle and roll for sure. my first box had 2 8" ma subs aiming up and it rattled so much i ended up building something a little different.

i'll take some measurements for you later tonight when i get out of work as far as the maximum height of the box with the cover. i'm pretty sure it's no more than 15" though.

My measurements were 19" tall, 24" bottom depth, 16" top depth, and 38" between the plastic pieces on width.

If you design a good box, it WILL get loud. But you got Sundown. You're pretty much loud just owning Sundown... Lol!

Sweet, I have roughly 6.5 cubic feet of space for a box, according to xseveredveganxs measurements. Im assuming this is without the cargo cover. If I don't get the cargo cover, I could easily run a 15" and get stupid loud and low. :] Now just to see on the cargo cover measurement. :D

Do I smell a NiteShade 15???? Hmmmm???

With that much room, you could probably run the 15 in a 6th order bandpass...

Heh, the Niteshade is too much coin for me, and I'll only be pumping about 1500w. I'm looking at the Fi BL. :]
