Default Seattle Area Scion Owners

Hi. I'm Justin.

I'm not-so-new here to SL, I used to come here a few years ago when I lived in Austin, TX had my Super White tC, and then I just kind of stopped for...no real reason.

Anyways, I have since moved up to Seattle and am looking for Seattle area Scion Owners. Are there any clubs/groups up here? There were quite a few in Austin, and just a big Scion culture in general, and I was hoping to find the same here.

I've been here about a year (will be exactly one year on the 29th actually) and live in the city. I am getting more familiar with the area, but still only really know my way around the downtown area. I'm also looking for a good reference for a body shop, or referral to a person who could do some mods on my car. While I love her till death, I know very little outside of the basic maintenance and the like. If anybody could refer to me to somebody in the Seattle area that has the know-how and tools to do things like changing tail lights, installing springs, etc... I would greatly appreciate it.

I look forward to participating in conversations and such with my fellow Scion owners here on SL and getting to know everybody.

Thanks.

i can't tonight, i've got plans with the lady, but i will try to make the bellevue meet, and if not , definitely the seattle one. is that the one at the u-village?

are there any scion-friendly shops/stores around here? for instance, in Austin, one of the salesmen at Champion Scion was buddies with a manager of an auto parts store, and we'd have meets around the city and all go down to the shop and he'd give a 10% discount to us. Anything like that?

Well if people are trying to come out to Bremerton and Silverdale, then I guess I should try and round up people again. I haven't been out to either meet since the end of last summer...and because of that, I don't think anyone meets up anymore. =X

Anyway, welcome to the region, newbies!

Everyone would probably be: me. Honestly, no one surfs this board from the area other than me. The rest all just don't come here anymore, or they don't have internet (yes it's true). Honestly, there isn't a scene here anymore due to politics and such from the past.

With what little we had, I just stopped. I really don't hang with anyone who drives a Scion anymore, honestly. Don't have a lot of time for it with work and whatnot.

But I'm threadjacking. *shrug*

If you're willing to organize one in the Kitsap area, then by all means. I'd probably show up.

I'm just sayin' that it would be hard to get a gathering on this side of the water with people FROM this side of the water. I've tried. All the owners around here just consider their Scion as "just another car" so they don't really see them the way we all do. That's why I've kinda strayed away from the scene. It's discouraging.
