I received the X2 Rear Lip from an E-Bay vendor. I made an offer and paid less than the shipping for this lip. It was painted for $85 locally. The install was A.O.K. It came with hardware and the pre-drilled holes lined up well. I did choose to drill one hole to improve the fit on the driver's side. I did not use glue, just 3 bolts and nuts.

Nice lip. The whites look slightly off. Maybe its my crazy eyes but the lip looks a different color white. Nice lip though.

White is a notoriously difficult color to match.

 

I paid for 068 Polar White as Toyota sees it. Skuff Box: your eyes are A.O.K. The lip looks too white. They told me not to wax it for 3 months. I have used the Mguires 3 step system on the rest of the car and I hope that it has not faded that much. Right now, there are gobbs of wax on the rest of the car. Does that much wax fade the color as seen by the human eye?
I have sent these photos to the painter and I will see what they say.

Well, it took many months and many dollars but I now have a martching rear lip.
Advice: Get professional installation, match paint as if you did not know the 068 code. Tips: Get professional help when modifications go wrong.


The first paint attempt was 068 Polar White, but, there are two of these 068 shades and one is whiter than the other. Professional installation and paint match performed by Mr. Spoiler in Manassas, Virginia. Thanks Dan, you fixed my mod.
