tell me about it. i jus drove all the way to socal yesterday. CEL came on after i hit a big dip and i think i blew a shock on the 10 freeway. its clunking again. i think my cv boot is torn too. im supposed to be going home today. i dont think thas happening yet.

im pretty sure all 4 of my shocks are blown, i wouldn't drive with a torn CV boot, wrap it with a plastic bag, zipties and hope it holds haha.

i drove with both of my inner ones torn forever.
as long as its not torn off completely youll be fine.
im not saying its a good idea to leave it but you can drive home from wherever you are.

But the government caught onto the loop hole and fixed it. In order for you to legalize a foreign car, you have to test crash two. So basically your paying 3 times the amount of the original price to legalize a foreign car. There are a handful of guys in Chicago that own GTRs and at least three guys have legit Silvias.

Silvia is my favorite car. I would choose that over a skyline or lambo or anything else.

saw a s15 in irwindale with AZ plates, and the r34 could be in US but not the GTR version. but there ARE some GTRs that made it in the country prior to when they started cracking down on JDM imports

Yes, you are right but that doesn't mean that the one is easier to get than the other. Hardest cars to get here are anything 1996 and up usually including rx7, sylvia, skyline, aristo.

i know i built a computer back in 8th grade, that was faster than my sisters macbook...

One of my friends has a new imac and I'm roasting him in graphics and performance in Starcraft 2. He's so mad that my 6 year old XPS400 is outperforming his shiny new overpriced Mac lol.

I did upgrade my video card, ram, etc but still. Im looking to get a faster processor and an SSD soon.

ehh SSD's aren't worth it yet, i just run two 500gigs in raid 0.

Only a noob gets a virus. If you use common sense you can avoid 90% of the stuff out there and not even bother with virus scan software. Macs can get viruses too, people just don't bother with writing them because there are so few Macs in the world compared to PCs.

Lol this is so true. I used to work at a computer repair place in highschool and 75% of the computers we got in had a virus because of Limewire/P2P sharing, downloading freeware, or porn. It was funny because people thought we wouldn't know they caught that malware infection from looking at dirty things, and trust just deleting history doesn't work, we can and still will find what you've been doing. :rofl:

yeah, talk about raping of the wallet. I pay 280/month right now just for my tc. No speeding tickets or anything. Clean record, good grades, and even did that "behind the wheel" crap to get a discount. I really need to switch insurance companies..

^^you're 17, you drive one of top 10 most ticketed car and most expensive cars to insure, you arent going to find any company that will be much cheaper more than likely.

not trying to start an argument, or veer off topic too much (or be the next dizzle), but progressive quoted me at $150 for full coverage. Just trying to get my mom to switch is a p.i.t.a. though. I'm with a smaller state company right now so that might be why it's more expensive.

alright, here's a picture of my rears before my fenders were rolled yesterday. it still looks completely stock, but the lip was rolled all the way up so i have a lot more clearance. what size spacer do you think i should run? it's between 10mm, 13mm, or 15mm.
the front pokes a pretty good amount, i just want to be able to match it with the rears.
any thoughts?
all three will fit, it's just a matter of what looks best.

haven't gotten an alignment...all places say my car is to low...which is bs, they are just lazy.

unless you want them to ____ up your bumpers when getting on the rack, I dont think it's laziness. find a place with a drive on rack.

yeah i get alot of the my car is 2 low crap, but i found 3 places that will do my car and they are all like 20-30 mins away from me lol..2 have in ground racks which is the best cause they dont have to worry how low your car is.. and one is NTB that has a few workers there that have low hondas so they made their own ramp for themselves but use it for customers too (like me) who are too low for regular clearance

Offer to remove the front bumper for the rack issues. Doesn't take long at all.

It seems that the rears sit a lil lower then then front. what suspension you on? But nice look on the car

im planning on getting every thing painted this week, i got backed into and got a $1,300 check...did all the body work my self, bumper alignment/fender alignment was way off...so now i have all this money for paint/parts.

and i got to college on the 19th dam right around the same time, and west hollywood wood is pretty close to Valencia, if we don't meet up before your gone, first month you get back for sure.
