I beat the ever loving hell out of my mac Book and it's fine..apple has good customer service to.

yea its a mac, they dont break, i didnt really take care of it, and its 3 years old already.
$2K in repair done, no questions asked because i bought the 3 year apple care plan, damn glad i did.

That roof spoiler messes up the flow of the tC's line IMO. If it was a lil more flush with the window maybe, idk.

the thing that kills it alil for me is that it points really far up. but the reason it does that is so when you open the hatch it doesnt hit the spoiler

yeah it does, it kinda slips in when the hatch opens up, which is why it has that crazy angle. its sooo much better looking than the VIS one. i think that one went up wayyy to angled

Yeah it was easy to install. Positioning is a little further away from the gap in between the roof glass and rear window. I had to do that for clearance.

Fitment- Is blah. There is gap where the spoiler meets the glass on both sides. Very edges touch. Middle touch. But there are two gaps that let light through.

Supply- The tape it comes with; NO GOOD!

Overall- 4/10

Hey whats up skyler? haha sorry man i kept your sl name. Yeah i know, just wanted to see if he remembered what they told him last time.

But if you are not going to be tucking then dont worry cause your wheels wont be inside your fenders.You will be fine turning and loading. If there is a problem it would be inside, then you might have to trim some plastic fender liner off. Any lower you WILL have to roll, pull and trim. Im 18x9 et35 tucking in the front and it rubs my fender. 22et you would also need camber. Hope this gives you an idea.

wheels just got on the car, lots of custom work to get them to fit. the width of them are massive and pics dont do the car justice, it looks so mean and wide specally from the back. fenders were cut, flare, trim, and rolled. 1 of set of tenzo wheels. DC-5's dont come in anything bigger then 18x8 but thats the beauty of working for discount tire :) the hole wheel set up will run you about 3k. :D comments welcome scion rules!

There are lots of differences man, Not to mention the parts that are similar are parts everyone has. RS1 kit, aftermarket headlights, and a grill. I'm sure I copied your tc part for part dude.

1) I have a full RS1 kit, not aCF RS1 front lip
2)I have no holes in my back bumper for a exhaust trim
3)Grill and headlights are one of three choices to choose from...Don't lie to yourself, Your not the only one who has these parts. Look around

thanks guys. lookin to push the limits of the tc with 18x10.5. yeah i recently ran into issues with the exhaust and rear lip. its been like this for two years and nothing but 4 days ago my lip was melted and the paint was bubbled. think its because my exhaust is hitting the ground:P the price you pay for being low i guess.

Its RS1 the lip kit, gives the body a lot lower look, like 2" over oem lip kit. Not hating, looks really good, just saying.

ya you can't tell in the video but it scrapes the frame pretty bad...its still not low enough for me, im saving for stance coils or b&g's because its not fun bottoming out on every bump.

Better check that out man, if you don't re coat it, it's going to rust. A rusty frame is a big no-no.

They are alright, I check them every month or so but I don't really rub frame much. Last time I got under there I had a subframe scrape and an oil pan scrape that freaked me the eff out. I recoated them though, hope I don't hit the oil pan again. I used that Rustoleum undercoating spray can stuff, works really good.

Think I'll check them tomorrow now haha.

They claim that my car is too low to make it onto their lifts. I don't know if that's true but I guess they don't want that liability.

That's what happened to me when i had my car slammed. Took me 3 shops for one to do it.

Try searching for one with an in ground alignment rack. Probably what I might have to do if my coilovers ever arrive. Gonna suck not having lifetime alignments with Firestone.

Annnnyway... do you guys do anything to strengthen your chassis? I know the body and frame is naturally going to flex more once lowered so much, so the creaks and cracks are going to be there, but what are you guys doing, if anything, to keep the chassis sturdy. I remember reading somewhere that we are supposed to re-torque our chassis bolts every so often? :confused:

Jasper Ash: Front upper strut tower bar and Ingalls rear strut brace will help tighten the chassis, the extreme would be welding a cage in the car lol. I have yet to install the Ingalls rear strut brace because I'd have to get rid of the OEM subwoofer setup.

its a decent balance of curves and straight lines. i really hate the back bumper design (worse with the oem kit). aside from the bumper's terrible styling, i wish the rear bumper's ground clearance wasnt so high compared to the sides and front.

That happens with every car... when all you do is live and breath your car, looking up ish on forums, looking for more stuff to do to it... you get sick of it! Sometimes I feel the same way.

But with that being said, I personally still think the tC has a great look an I love he body lines all the way around. I appreciate a tC when done right. IMO, dumped tC's and aggressive fitment tC's look better than a lot of cars done in the same fashion. That's why I picked up a tC. I saw what you could do with it and I fell in love.

But I still think my car is meh.

Yeah I mean I'd love to pick up a subie, s2k, is250, genesis coupe... list could go on forever, but I really love the bang for the buck factor of the tC. What I paid for the car doesn't really show, looks like a slammed lexus coming down the street... just feels like a damn corolla with all the rattles :lol:
