With 1 perch and 35's you will be pretty low, enough to tide you over while you wait for better coils. I'm saving for stances right now...or if used b&g's come up, I'll buy um. I've heard they have a redic wait time.

right now the metal piece of the rear bumper is sitting on top of tire. i pull the rear bumper tab out but the metal is the problem. i hammer but it goes no wear. anyway to pull the fender out a bit so it stops rubbing. really dont want to raise the car lol

definetly hotter now with the oem front lip Uyles, man basically feel like i'm staring right at my car how it will look someday haha :), not trying to copy your style or nothing but every mod you've done so far was what i had already invisioned one day for my car, i guess great minds think alike :), but i guess i'll have to come up with a different setup maybe now lol, just trying to do my stuff right the first time around so its taking me a little longer than expected to get there just ordered a set of b&g's myself, so funds are a little low right now, but anyways the only thing that i would suggest is that you go with just the oem rear lip and keep the oem factory sides, same as flipmoob, jaewrek, or blktc, i think its the hottest look for the TC's and that's what lip kit i plan to run myself...but then again the five axis rear is nice also, but your car is really clean looking nice work..but if you're really set on having the OEM lipkit sideskirts in a few months i will probably pick up an OEM lipkit in CSM and have the sides for sale unless i change my mind and put them on but i doubt it since i like this look better, also have a OEM trunk lip spoiler for sale right now in classified section if you're interested..:)

sometimes you have to shorten the stock studs if the back of the wheels doesn't allow any space for the stock stud to go thru.

also, i think it was at least 8threads on the stock studs to be considered "safe" but then again... i could be wrong.

That was my main issue with 18s. Since I didn't have coils, I wasn't feeling the added ground clearance. I didn't have wheel gap but the car sat up higher.

get some Rokkor coils, its better than no drop.

dope. im down. im not running camber right now, but once those rotas are in, ill be set. ive already installed my spc camber arms in the rear.

and if u wanna go lower, u should remove some perch rings. u should be good with that. btw, whats the specs on ur grids? 18x9.5 +35?

Those SPC camber arms ADD 2 degrees of camber not help take away. If you're trying to maximize neg camber you don't want those you wanna leave stock or go with hotchkis.

WheelDude has a new selection of Rotas varying in a bunch offsets and colors now. I want to get everybodys opinion on the Rota Grid 18x10 et15 they have. Will it be able to be a Daily Driver with that wide of a wheel? I want to try them out and stretch a 215/40/18 on them and get dropped on Coilovers that'll sit right on the top of the tire. Opinions!!!

^When did they start offering +15 in 5x100 for Grids? The most aggressive I know they offered was 18x10 +30 for 5x100.

Camber helps a lot. That was still at autoX settings. -1.7 in the rear doesn't do much for tuck.

I don't mind the 16s as much as the 0 offset. It really is too much poke. I wish they made the 8" width with +15 but to get +15 you have to go down to 7".

I think it looks wrong, being flush with a skinny rim...just looks weird.

im on rokkor tuning. pretty much the same as racelands. yeah, the torques and the coilovers really go hand in hand together.

im glad too. yeah, s-techs just were'nt cutting it enought for me. im at around 300 miles so far on my coils. so far, no problem.

the torques came with the 35 series. they still have pretty good life in them, so im just gonna run them until i need new ones. i was thinking of going with a 40 series, but im not sure if im gonna end up rubbing.

yeah i called about 10 places in my area, and i got asked if i was on drugs by one company, told it was impossible by another, and then basically just told it was a huge liability issue by everyone else. eventually i just said ____ it and called up my friend that works for Galpin Ford and he sent me to the place that does all their low profile tires and i got the hookup. you basically just need to call around until you get one that'll do it.

and to avoid problems with stretched tires...just be careful when driving. the usual pothole avoiding and such will keep your tires holding up fine.

i run mine at like 38-40 psi or something like that, i don't remember. they've been perfectly fine, though.

I was told that you should not inflate the PSI to the recommended tire spec on the tire that is being stretched or already stretched but to stay about 8-5 PSI under the recommended

no.
you over inflate it or fill it on the high side of the manufacturer spec.
if its under inflated theres no way it will stay seated

Discount Tire couldn't even get 225s to mount on my DPTs with a cheetah. I thought Falkens were easy to stretch but I ended up finding some Conti's with a softer sidewall and had a mom and pop shop mount them for 60 bucks.

stretching brand new 215's onto a 10" will be a pain in the ___ cuz of the hard sidewall..

soo, just blow the tire up with fire and lighter fluid. lol it'll bead :D

215's on a 10" wasn't that hard...well if the shop knows what they are doing.

i have 225/40 on 18x9.4 i run my tires 10psi higher then what it says on the door jamb, max on the falken 912's is 50psi, im around 40 i believe

i wanna get 18x10s but i feel like my 215/35s are gonna be horrible on them.... i feel like i need 225/40s

i was going to go with 18x10s, if i did i would have got a 225/35/18.

^Everytime I show a potential wheel to my dad he's like, "Your wheels are fine, and why do want used wheels, that may need work?" It's never ending, still waiting to do my taxes. IDK what direction of I want to go with wheels, I've seen some XXR 523 that look interesting on NLM, I can get tires through a connect and have money to spare.

It's kind of meh that a few of us will have them now, and I kinda feel bad for cramping Chicotunner's style... but these are legit wheels either way and I've wanted them like vagi*a since the day yellowxhoodie put his up for sale. I'm going with 215. If you're going to be low go with 205.

Thanks it serves its purpose. The only reason I don't have the whole thing is I bought the hood piece by itself. Otherwise I would have the whole mask on with the amount of driving I do. It doesn't matter now because it won't fit with the OEM lip anyway.
