iripthekut 08-04-2009, 07:36 AM do you have any rear shots? that is one crazy ___ camber. chicotunner07 08-04-2009, 01:37 PM yea the seal between the barrel and face started leaking air. I have -.5 degrees up front is this a normal occurence with stretched tires and negative camber? the fitment of the rears on the front looks sick!!! davedavetC 08-04-2009, 03:33 PM haha thanks.. i'll take that as a compliment! lol :D MORE TO COME!! not just eurolines... :P lol ya Checho 08-04-2009, 04:44 PM Ben do you have a link to the place where you got the camber kit at? I want to get one for my set up and run maybe -3 or -4 in the rear :) shinjitai 08-04-2009, 07:22 PM is this a normal occurence with stretched tires and negative camber? the fitment of the rears on the front looks sick!!! No, this only happens with wheels that are either 2 or 3 piece. If you have a one piece wheel, you don't have to worry about those things. BlkTC 08-04-2009, 08:50 PM i have more shots, but they're on my girlfriend's computer.. i'll post them as soon as i get them from her.. checho: i got the camber kit from blizzard.. lol sorry. i actually ordered them, and then he PM'ed me then i cancelled the order so i wouldn't be spending an extra $100.. lol the site that i WAS going to get them from is http://www.2kracing.com/Product/69496.html PakanaHerruus 08-04-2009, 11:39 PM I know this is a TC section. But there isn't a thread for this on the xB. I tried to get my stance as aggressive as possible. http://img196.imageshack.us/img196/7734/imagehandlerashx.jpg http://img269.imageshack.us/img269/5019/imagehandlerashxu.jpg yellowxhoodie 08-05-2009, 12:47 AM needs more low. Ro_Ja 08-05-2009, 02:45 AM Sorry, but I've seen WAY better setups on B's. You can go so much more aggressive than that. shinjitai 08-05-2009, 03:23 AM you can get the hotchkis rear cambers cheaper at trdsparks. theres where i got mine. Checho 08-05-2009, 05:56 AM hmm damn another 200 bux! :P i gotta see if I can get rid of that heathen Supercharger...then might have some nice ballin N/A plans :D /my thread jack BlkTC 08-05-2009, 06:49 PM busy yesterday, making a deposit today.. actually.. right now.. :D t_urbo_C_harged 08-06-2009, 12:05 PM How much negative rear camber does everyone need? I know that when I dropped my car on hotchkis my rear camber was around -2.2 before I aligned it. I bet I could have made it more negative too haha. Now that I am on coils, I am sure I could go even further than that! I just purchased the ingall's front camber bolt set, 2 for each side, so I will be able to add -2 degrees of camber up front. Doing all of this to fit my RPF1's. Figured I would get her ready while I am waiting on money for tires. Checho 08-06-2009, 12:17 PM Lol i feel that a -3 is good enough for my set up, IIRC Blizzard was running -4 on his Advans t_urbo_C_harged 08-06-2009, 12:27 PM I may have to do more, but hopefully I can get my fenders rolled for cheap, that will certainly help with clearance. davedavetC 08-06-2009, 12:31 PM i remember for fun i had -4.4 when i had my GTPs on and i DEF didnt need that, but i slammed teh car and it looked killer. BlkTC 08-06-2009, 04:41 PM should've kept your car that way.. slammed. w/ demon camber. ftw :D BlizZard 08-07-2009, 12:47 AM should've kept your car that way.. slammed. w/ demon camber. ftw :D x2 cambers the 5hit son! the more the merrier lol davedavetC 08-09-2009, 12:12 PM lol i wish i did too, but i couldnt lol my tires where dead and i didnt wanna risk anything, but with my next set of wheels the camber will be set again  BlkTC 08-11-2009, 06:31 AM bump for camber http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j97/BlkTC/229.jpg Ro_Ja 08-11-2009, 06:40 AM wow shinjitai 08-11-2009, 06:40 AM O M G. that's what i want. You got a PM bro! Air2TheThrown 08-11-2009, 08:16 AM wow x2 iripthekut 08-11-2009, 08:22 AM as far as tires go for that kind of camber, would you buy cheap tires and risk blowing them out or spend more for expensive tires? decisions decisions..:icon_juggle: BlkTC 08-11-2009, 09:59 AM lol seriously.. decisions decisions.. and i'll take those "wow" statements as compliments.. no one believed me on serious camber.. so i had to post that one.. here's more.. don't hate on me cuz i got bigger wheels in the back though. no money for tires in the front.. http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j97/BlkTC/236.jpg http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j97/BlkTC/228.jpg http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j97/BlkTC/227.jpg http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j97/BlkTC/241.jpg http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j97/BlkTC/176.jpg http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j97/BlkTC/184.jpg http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j97/BlkTC/062-1.jpg the last picture is when i had 2 tires mounted on the front and rear. 1 front 1 rear yirichie 08-11-2009, 03:02 PM ^ rear looks a little high, but i think its just the angle. sexy! what kind of wheels are those? SE7EN 08-12-2009, 04:02 AM the wheels are work eurolines.....what are the specs on those wheels? TCpete 08-12-2009, 02:00 PM looks awesome BLK!!! trdtcpr 08-12-2009, 04:44 PM A-F*cking-mazing!!!!!!!!!!:clap: BlkTC 08-13-2009, 12:39 AM lol thanks all! the rear is high only because they're on 18's... also, the specs are 18x8.5 et25 and 18x8.5 et20 :D scionboat 08-20-2009, 11:07 AM Damn, those look dope mang. [: shinjitai 08-20-2009, 04:54 PM http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r69/shinjitai1438/_DSC0841.jpg fiendskillz 08-20-2009, 06:14 PM how much camber u runnin bro? shinjitai 08-20-2009, 08:09 PM not sure, but i would say around -6 or -5. I can go more positive and have lots of room to work with. o8tC 08-20-2009, 09:46 PM that's crazy! cant wait to see them all on the car. jaewrek 08-25-2009, 09:37 PM http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t105/iiiyon/IMG_3912.jpg http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t105/iiiyon/IMG_3900.jpg http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t105/iiiyon/IMG_3921.jpg http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t105/iiiyon/IMG_3901.jpg TCpete 08-25-2009, 10:24 PM dont like it HKSpeed 08-25-2009, 10:29 PM props for being slammed with that setup, but you need wider tires to get nicer stretch. The wheels look aggressive and flush, but the tires dont. The tires need to come all the way out to the fender to the point where the sidewall will rub. right now youre hella tucked, but not hella flush. notice the dull area of rubbed tire above "SPORT" on the sidewall http://kristopher.derentz.com/gallery/d/10177-1/black_knight_rolling-1789.jpg t_urbo_C_harged 08-25-2009, 10:54 PM I have too much sidewall to be hellaflush lolz, looks real aggressive though. Pics after fender rolling this Saturday. jaewrek 08-25-2009, 10:58 PM oh trust me i rub... almost 24/7 fiendskillz 08-26-2009, 01:39 AM hks: with his candy painted rims :p, thats the kind of set up mine should be when i get my new wheels getaforknjob 08-26-2009, 01:52 AM Jaewrek, nice rims! What's up with your hood? jaewrek 08-26-2009, 05:08 AM Jaewrek, nice rims! What's up with your hood? Heh everyone asks that. I just propped it with some spacers for aesthetic purposes. TCpete 08-26-2009, 06:25 AM Heh everyone asks that. I just propped it with some spacers for aesthetic purposes. wouldnt that actually be for function... its not a trend mod even though its treated as such getaforknjob 08-26-2009, 06:38 AM Hm.. I've never seen that before. Interesting.. BlkTC 08-26-2009, 07:13 AM he has hood spacers.. it ventilates the hot air out of the engine. and i gotta x2 with pete said.. too many people have them.. they're just played out.. but i like the fitment. Aroddalobster 08-30-2009, 06:08 AM I'm with hkspeed.. The stretch would look really good and necessary if the wheels poked more. I am at +30 and rub very slightly up front with 255's but couldn't imagine sticking them out any more lol. yellowxhoodie 09-06-2009, 06:53 AM RPF1's FTMFW. WendysOrBust 09-06-2009, 02:24 PM ZOOOMMGGG HE GET S2k GOODNESS?! if he gets a 04-05 or any year in lbp goddamn i'm gonna stalk him. and wendysorbust, iuno how you're running tires as sqare as friggin re01r with that kinda offset/spacers. Lol we me either. The 8" rim only did a very (very) slight stretch on them and before mounting I was afraid they wouldn't even clear the fenders. But once I sat the car down the -2.2 degrees of camber helped it sit flush and since I'm also running 4.5 degrees of caster I imagine that helps out slightly too while turning. x2, well as I am sitting right now I can see that upfront. I am at +30 and rub very slightly up front with 255's but couldn't imagine sticking them out any more lol. Aren't you running the Dan Garnder edition Rpf1's on Star specs? If so I think I've seen your car and it sits mean. But I won't be replacing the Re01r's with another extreeme summer tire either, I'll probably be doing S-Drives or Spt's in 225 or maybe a 235/40. No more auto x for me  RPF1's FTMFW. thx mang, I got a super sick deal on them too Ro_Ja 09-06-2009, 03:02 PM ^ Are you on Honda-Tech by any chance? WendysOrBust 09-06-2009, 08:45 PM haha basically Its actually the NIA front slpitter lip. I'm on my 2nd one which is the updated model with the added end plates. Yanki01 09-07-2009, 12:04 AM looks pretty clean, idk how i glanced away from those beautiful wheels? t_urbo_C_harged 09-07-2009, 01:15 AM I am on Dan G's with 255 Nitto NT05's. Real nice tire! My stock wheels will be for winter so I don't care if I have an extreme summer tire on my RPF1's. WendysOrBust 09-08-2009, 04:20 AM looks pretty clean, idk how i glanced away from those beautiful wheels? Haha I don't know either. I was originally trying to go with some enkei nto3m's in 17x9.5 +38 but going 5x114 and then trying to get my camber dialed in and getting a good tire to make it look and fit right would of ran me over 2k. I am on Dan G's with 255 Nitto NT05's. Real nice tire! My stock wheels will be for winter so I don't care if I have an extreme summer tire on my RPF1's. Nice, nice. Do you auto x or do any club racing? I did 2 years on my car and 1/2 year on these tires and I absolutely love the Bridgestones. They are such a fantastic tire with outstanding thread ware. They've already outlasted my set of 615's and grip 3x better in the wet and dry. Sadly due to the high cost of keeping the car "track ready" and trying to pay bills and school I have retired the car from auto'xing. After the Stones wear out I'll be going with something that works all year round and just keep the car as a clean daily. :| 07_Scion_Tc 09-22-2009, 02:56 AM im lovin ALOT of the tcs in this thread so nice. Poked or flush alot of nice work in here. :| Nice. Yeah I eventually want to get the car into something like Time attack, but I want to be boosted before hand and earliest I could do it would be next year. I have thought about auto x too, but think I would be in a high class with the mods I have and I wouldn't have enough power to compete haha. I am not a big time wheel guy I just put on what looks good or what will fit the right size slicks. Looking to make the rears flush like the fronts. t_urbo_C_harged 10-11-2009, 02:41 PM whats your front offset? Comparing your setup to mine (Dan Gardner's 17x8.5 +30 offset), you would need to be at +17 to have the wheel equally as pushed out as mine. All of this is according to the wheel offset calculator. Would look good with some camber. dqlostsoulz 11-24-2009, 06:18 AM 15mm in back more camber...10mm in the front Thats what I was thinking. Do you think I would need a front camber bolt and rear camber links? meant 15 would be too much for the front but back that would be good, would knock the offset down +25. Would look good with some camber. Yup, how hard is it to adjust the camber in the rear? rrimportracer 11-24-2009, 06:28 AM Not hard but I'd say have a shop do it. Don't forget that if you have a wider track on the rear than the front the car will understeer more than it already does. If anything go with an even spacer all around dqlostsoulz 11-24-2009, 06:30 AM Cant I just dial in the camber than take it to a shop for an alignment? I read your thread on clubtC about adjusting the rear camber. DJ08tC 11-24-2009, 07:21 AM well if you are going to get a shop to do an alignment mine as well get them to do it. That is part of an alignment, just ask around and find a shop that will do it. dqlostsoulz 11-24-2009, 07:23 AM True, but its hard finding a good shop that deals with cars like that here in the valley. DJ08tC 11-24-2009, 07:26 AM yea after my last incident with a shop i will probably be shelling out more money to go to ptuning for an alignment and stuff. dqlostsoulz 11-24-2009, 07:29 AM what happened? I just got an alignment a few weeks ago and they scratched up my rims. And another shop (les schwab) was trying to tell me i needed a a camber link for the rear..I was like no my ride isnt even slammed! And when I got my alignment they pretty much put it back to oem specs and now I rub more so I might take it back. DJ08tC 11-24-2009, 07:33 AM I went to firestone, the place i went before and they did a good job. Well this time they put a few scratches on my rims but i didnt care since they are the stockies and i am getting ready to paint them. But like a week later i was doing an oil change and I noticed like deep scratches along the side on the side skirts where they probably ran up on the lift too fast. You can see them really when the car is down but i know they are there, and it knocked the plastic piece next to the side skirt loose so a part of it hangs down now. dqlostsoulz 11-24-2009, 07:36 AM That sux...thats how I am when I know its there even though you cant see it, but i know its there and it irritates me BlkTC 11-24-2009, 06:19 PM omg.. do it for the fronts.. don't let these people decide for you.. lmao buy two camber bolts for the front (comes in a pair so buy 2 sets).. 2 on each side. camber that isht in.. and run 19x8.5 +15 and 19x9.5 +25 good fitment right there.. dqlostsoulz 11-24-2009, 06:32 PM lol..so I would replace the two front bolts on either side with the camber bolts? DJ08tC 11-28-2009, 05:10 AM it can be done, that one guy did 275/35/18 on 9.5" rotas, he rolled the fenders, and did some cutting. NYNCTC 11-28-2009, 08:45 PM just get better wheels anyway. step your game up :) FlintC 11-28-2009, 09:08 PM my last name aint baller son! i just bought a house! lol. just dropped $1200 on Paradigm surround sound and gonna be another bit on a privacy fence. If I do anything that expensive to my car its gonna be SS-P's and some better tires. Would like a little more flush though. Maybe 30mm out back and something to make it even up front, or wtfever. need helppp lol NYNCTC 11-28-2009, 09:10 PM hahahaha i feel ya. jaewrek 11-28-2009, 09:42 PM http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t105/iiiyon/DSC05880.jpg I think this is a good amount of poke for the front. 18x10 +35 with a 225/35 0* I just wish I could get the rear to look similar. 18x10 +35 225/40 -4* and I still smell burnt tire whenever I drive. I'm thinking more stretch in the back (run 225/35 all around) so that will hopefully give me the clearance to camber the rear back out with less rub. What do you guys think? NYNCTC 11-28-2009, 09:45 PM show the rear please? have your tried cutting or rolling more? |
