I like my two tone. And yeah I'm still on the fence about the fogs as well. I'm thinking I'm going to paint them to match the blue and blend in more. ItsMireles 08-29-2011, 07:35 PM What do you mean by modded? And aren't those pretty much the same as racelands? As in how much drop they give you. tC-S08 08-29-2011, 08:19 PM Yea there pretty much the same as raceland and he means modded cause he removed collars, cut bumpstop ect ect.. to get this low ItsMireles 08-29-2011, 10:03 PM Hmm I want to go lower. I think you officially have the most modded set of Rokkors on SL. Lol it was actually an accident. My top hats got all beat to hell when I decided to cut my springs lol. (worst idea ever) So when I replaced them and did that other thing the top hat was like 20 kinds of f___ed. Oh well turned out sick Hahahahaha Hayseed 08-31-2011, 04:10 AM That's wrong on so many levels lol Seriously hahahaha http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6083/6098415826_f505a464f8_b.jpg 5mm spacers in the rears soon :lalala: Spoony 08-31-2011, 05:37 AM 5mm? How about 15mm? dropzone 08-31-2011, 05:42 AM ^He'd have to get another set of adapters and swap them out. I wouldn't stack spacers on adapters. Spoony 08-31-2011, 05:49 AM Stack spacers on adapters on spacers on wheels on spacers. I call it Space Jam. trdscion 08-31-2011, 07:00 PM ^ good call 09SocalTC 08-31-2011, 08:52 PM LOL WUT http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0d/MillikenMX1CamberCar1960.jpg OhHelloChris 09-01-2011, 08:46 PM Rim Brand: Enkei Rim Style: RPF1 Sizing: 18x9.5 Camber: F: Unknown R: Unknown <--- getting alignment and spacers soon Tire Size: 225/40/18 Tire Brand: Falken Tire Style: Ziex Ze-512 http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6197/6104321852_f1aa8fb775_z.jpg GQQSE13 09-01-2011, 11:42 PM looks good! surprisingly you made that bumper look alot better than in pics i've seen of other tc's with it OhHelloChris 09-02-2011, 01:01 AM Haha, thanks. I'm probably gonna go lower maybe another 1/2 inch. Also going to get my alignment tomorrow. Alvie 09-03-2011, 05:35 AM I don't know how u pulled it off but u made a tC with a body kit look dope. One thing I can't stand is body kits on tC's. Even the RS3 Lip Kit gets on my nerves haha! We need some back shots! Spoony 09-03-2011, 05:43 AM When are you getting coilovers? OhHelloChris 09-03-2011, 06:06 AM Eh, bodykit is alright. I mean I dislike the skirts and the rear, but the front I can live with. The fitment is horrible so it gets annoying. Scraping the front bumper or the skirts kinda sucks cause I don't know if I will like break it haha. ^ When is who getting coilovers? chicotunner07 09-03-2011, 08:50 PM ^my thoughts exactly! the front bumper looks good (minus the vent near the wheels) but the skirts and rear i would swap for oem lip kit. i think stance can make almost any car look good, even with body kits. Jon 09-03-2011, 09:27 PM I like the vent. Looks similar to a bumper they make for the S15. OhHelloChris 09-03-2011, 11:11 PM Lol, So yesterday I got rejected for wheel alignment cause of my side skirts. I'm hoping my buddy at toyota can hook me up with an alignment haha. I am still deciding what to switch to. I like the five axis front lip but I also do like both the oem front lip and the rs1. The oem full lip kit, I don't really like the rear and skirts much, but I do like the RS1 full lip kit. The five axis front lip is growing on me though haha. I might buy the RS1 then sometime later on get the five axis. The kit is already getting paint cracks, the skirts are getting loose. I should be changing the look maybe by early next year. I'm still keeping the rpf1s though, I love the finish haha. toeveryhour 09-04-2011, 01:53 AM http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f121/toeveryhour/2007%20Scion%20Tc%20RS%203/Work%20Meisters/tc065.jpg http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f121/toeveryhour/2007%20Scion%20Tc%20RS%203/Work%20Meisters/tc067.jpg http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f121/toeveryhour/2007%20Scion%20Tc%20RS%203/Work%20Meisters/tc068-1-1.jpg http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f121/toeveryhour/2007%20Scion%20Tc%20RS%203/Work%20Meisters/tc079.jpg http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f121/toeveryhour/2007%20Scion%20Tc%20RS%203/Work%20Meisters/tc091.jpg http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f121/toeveryhour/2007%20Scion%20Tc%20RS%203/Work%20Meisters/tc092.jpg bigG2148 09-04-2011, 02:36 AM Nice and on boost Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk OhHelloChris 09-04-2011, 05:36 AM toeveryhour, I hate you...cause I want those wheels haha. Anyway it looks clean and what kit are you running. I got my stance and built motor with boost but I'm having a little issue with slight piston slap. I'll take some pics tomorrow since it's labor day. INFKT 09-05-2011, 07:41 PM @OhHelloChris Kudos buddy..while everyone is trying for that stock look..you managed to pull off something unique. Ride stands out a lot..maybe some wider wheels will make it look even more aggressive..just my opinion... toeveryhour 09-06-2011, 03:50 AM Thanks for the compliments. Yeah stance and boost... Kinda negates each other but totally baller lol. Gunnist, I bought a 350Z not an Evo lol. But I've always kept the tC. I'll never get rid of it. I'll post more pics next week. I don't see how this could be difficult for them but I can see them not wanting to do it because of liability to damaging the wheel or something.. toeveryhour 09-08-2011, 03:12 AM Hmmm... good question. I don't know if they will or not due to the liability. You could always check, but in times like these it's good to know a few people in the tire biz lol. dropzone 09-09-2011, 03:07 AM From my "wheel test fit at night" collection lol Current wheels: http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6065/6128589879_6b8e0f20b3.jpg (http://www.flickr.com/photos/61201863@N07/6128589879/) 18x7.5 +42 (http://www.flickr.com/photos/61201863@N07/6128589879/) by 09 RS 5 (http://www.flickr.com/people/61201863@N07/), on Flickr Potential wheels, def need repair and paint: http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6192/6128596139_63e94e170d.jpg (http://www.flickr.com/photos/61201863@N07/6128596139/) 17x8 +20 (http://www.flickr.com/photos/61201863@N07/6128596139/) by 09 RS 5 (http://www.flickr.com/people/61201863@N07/), on Flickr Alvie 09-09-2011, 03:16 AM Random tire question: Will shops like Tire Kingdom and Firestone have any problem dismounting my stretched tires? I don't see how this could be difficult for them but I can see them not wanting to do it because of liability to damaging the wheel or something.. From my experience here in L.A. Shops like firestone, Big O Tires, JustTires will dismount the tire. The problem is they will not install a stretch tire. U will have to find a mom&pop tire shop for that. Jasper Ash 09-09-2011, 03:44 AM ^ That's all I need. I'm going to stop by a few shops tomorrow. Thanks. gmc_113 09-09-2011, 04:41 AM rotiform blq's dropzone? A click on the link will get the rest of the pics I uploaded. Still haven't test fit the front, just wanted to check the pattern so quickly put one on back, the tolerance is close for the bolt hole to the lugs to keep as much metal since the pattern is close the the centerbore. Hayseed 09-09-2011, 05:51 AM The redrill looks fantastic anyways though. dropzone 09-09-2011, 06:10 AM The shop def did a good job on it, the drilling actually got into the smaller hole so there's a bit of an opening between the newly drilled hole, there's still plenty of material for the lug to seat though. fliphm00b 09-09-2011, 05:52 PM http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6084/6130267389_328f562ca7_z.jpg Lots of work to do.. :S NYNCTC 09-09-2011, 07:11 PM but totally worth it. going custom or keeping the stock fenders? fliphm00b 09-09-2011, 07:43 PM Goin to customize the fenders (widened) yellowxhoodie 09-09-2011, 08:50 PM doesnt look like that much work, a nice stretch and little camber and your done lol fliphm00b 09-09-2011, 09:27 PM I don't want much camber is the thing u know? HK tape is dope, I read how one of ur friends said don't fake the funk lol TCpete 09-13-2011, 03:25 AM xd-9s look nice but i like your prev wheels better... the thing thats killing me is that dam front sticker ... dat untouched ethics is KILLING THE CAR imo mmmpshh 09-13-2011, 03:36 AM ^ agreed Hayseed 09-13-2011, 04:04 AM I love the xd9's, but the sticker and the HK lip has to go, the sticker is too big and the HK just clashes with the car's color imo... NYNCTC 09-13-2011, 09:25 PM Custom fenders is the answer my friend. You can run whatever the hell you want and not run extreme camber or shred your fenders and tires by just widening your fenders. Personally, I would do it if you plan to anything 18x10 +20 or lower and wider and plan to run it for a loooooong time. Jon 09-13-2011, 09:44 PM I want to see someone make some metal 10mm oversize fenders like the Seibon CF ones. Yep, the inside is a problem. I have 18x9.5 +37 and they barely fit on the inside. I think 1 or 2 more mm and they would rub the control arm. Jasper Ash 09-15-2011, 06:42 AM Can be done on camber. I was at -3* in the pic directly above and on a 17mm spacer making it +21. I'm sure you could get away with it on stock camber. CleanFMtC 09-28-2011, 05:42 AM flaring is done with a roller as spoony said, just heat the outside of the fender up and angle the roller and roll the edge of the fender with the roller where you want to flare it, i would suggest not going straight to a crazy angle but keep it moderate to see if you like it or not, overly flared fenders are ugly imo. then dont change the angle of it and do the same to the other side. I have rolled fenders and drop on racelands. LETZgoBUDDY 09-28-2011, 02:05 PM Jerriks, Socals past set-up, and my current wheel specs are 17x10 +25 and unless u don't want to rub like crazy or buckle, it'd be smart to have camber bolts. And depending on what rim you get, you may need spacers i_pogi 09-28-2011, 03:21 PM I was thinking of just picking up some stp1 and I wanted to know what else I needed other then the rims. wheres a good place to order some camber bolts? and I would assume I need it all around right. Jasper Ash 09-28-2011, 03:36 PM ^ A lot of people are very happy with these. Just order two sets so you can max out front camber if needed. For the rear you'll need aftermarket camber arms to go past the high end of -3 camber. I can't recommend a good brand on that because I don't use them at the moment. i_pogi 09-28-2011, 03:48 PM would I need the rear ones just to run that set up? btw thanks for the replies guys LETZgoBUDDY 09-28-2011, 04:26 PM no camber bolts nor camber arms needed to go past -3 camber in the rear unless u wanna go past -4.5. You'll need at least 3mm spacers up front for STP1s or else your caliperswill get chewed up. Check my thread to see the fitment... i_pogi 09-28-2011, 04:31 PM soo all I pretty much need is camber bolts in the front and 3mm spacers in front and back? SoFloTC 09-28-2011, 05:15 PM http://img.scionlane.com/photos/1/1f/73203_de7a5737ef.jpg http://img.scionlane.com/photos/1/1f/73202_532218336f.jpg Back is with Falkens, the racelands arent that stiff so im iffy about going lower. Fenders still need to be rolled still on 0 camber. With the KDW's im not sure im going to go lower in the front.... need advice this is my first stance setup! Abchris_06 09-28-2011, 08:51 PM i_pogi - definitely you need a spacer. i just put 10mm front for miro stp1 - 17x10 tire is 215/40/17 on it. Jasper Ash 09-28-2011, 08:59 PM SoFloTC, it looks like you're running more stretch in the rear. I think you'll need more stretch up front. tc913 09-28-2011, 09:05 PM def need more stretch in the front if you want to turn the wheel if you're gonna go lower Hayseed 09-28-2011, 09:42 PM My guess is you want more rubber up front for traction. Boost and flush fitment dont work too well together on the tc. Yes you can have both, but not the best of both. You either go low and run camber or dont go low, have no camber and have grip.
