Default New Exhaust

Well, not really a new setup, but new tips. Swapped out those tiny 3" tips for some beefy 4". Tone changed slightly, which was good. It's a little deeper now. Going back in today to have the front cat/resonator replaced with a smaller res to try and get more tone at idle. Here are some pics:

First, the old setup:

Now, the new setup:

It's pouring out right now, so I'll get one when it stops raining, or while it's up on the rack after work.

That looks great. How much louder is it then stock? I want to do the same thing, but want it to be just as quiet or quieter. That looks like quality work!

oh, it's quite a bit louder than stock. The back cat/muffler/res has been cut out, so only the cat/muffler/res after the s-pipe is left. And I'm goingt to get that replaced after work I'll get a sound clip for everyone.

well, I would not recommend cutting off the mid resonator. The sound was good, but so loud I couldn't stand it, and I love loud exhausts. Guess I'll start playing around with different mufflers to see if I can get the sound where I want it.

You could run one of the larger diamater Magnaflow mufflers. I thought about doing that with mine.

My exhaust guy is worried about it fitting. I was wanting to get a Flowmaster Super 40. My friend has that on his Charger, and it sounds absolutely amazing!

I have removed the "after the axel" reso a long time ago. Definately a good move. Removing the mid reso... not so smart

I know I know, We have a design made and ready to post up. The only problem is that we are trying to get a set-up done that will keep things quiet with a header.
