CF hood Q
im in the market for a CF hood and almost all the sites say to use hood pins. is it a MUST to use hood pins b/c im trying to keep the stock look and lines. im just not a fan of the hood pins. did anyone ever had something bad happen without the pins? thanks for your feedback on this.
well i think some hoods do fly up by the material they use for the latch and others don't like kaminari, seibon, VIS. i've seen 2 people use the pins, 1 was just for looks, 2nd was because he was afraid of it popping up.
The stock hood is about 25lbs .. Our carbon fiber hood weighed in at about 12.5lbs ..
I've had our CF Hood on my tC for 3 years without hood pins .. Never once had a problem. We have hoods in stock and can ship them out in a day

most don't. they just come with the notches kinda indented so u can tell where to drill. u don't need the nozzles anyways unless u live in bug city and do night driving down back roads.
I just installed my hood and ripped the washer fluid reserve right out and put an oogha horn there. ha ha
