i was thinking i can just cut the honeycomb to fit the trimming but then i didnt know how i would make it stick together to the trim. double sided tape? lol..zipties?

yeah i was planning to use the 07 lower grille for the top of the 08. i would use the old 08 trim which also snaps onto the car itself. i just need to fnid out how to make the honey comb part be attached to the trim?

 

thats easy! just ask all the customers i've done upper badgeless for! check out my car pics! but yeah just use zip ties to connect the honeycomb to the trim around the grill. thats what i do and no complains from my customers so far!

 

so u ziptie it to the bottom or top? or all the way around? lol how do u make it not noticeable?

 

how do u think the black trim to it would look? better or worst? should i repaint it?

non 08... 05-07 chrome trim... the zip ties are only on the first pic! where u ask? exactly! their hiding. i use the holes where the chrome trim screw goes on.

 

will this work the same for the 08 grille?

 

dont know. i know the tabs are the same so just go purchase that grill FS on the home page and do as i did.

 

i think ima just do it with the 08 grille since it fits the 08 already. just cut out the inside of the grill and place the 07 honey comb where it was and ziptie it to the grille.

 

how is that the 07 trim? its not chrome its black, u painted?

 

yeap, i painted it matte at the customers expense.
