Starting pulling apart very carefully and slowly? lol. Isn't that Toyota tech website supposed to have information like this? There's a post around this forum somewhere with a link, or at least it'e mentioned, the Toyota guide page. Though I think you have to pay for the access. No quite sure..

Easy..did it today.

Remove A pillars..remove weather stripping then push in around the top of it and grip it firmly, it'll start to come straight up from the base near the dash. Next, pull the radio out by removing the waterfall (pull around the edges of it, it's 4 easy to remove clips. After that remove everything from under the drivers side dash. Next pull the HVAC waterfall out, so you can reach your arm up in there to get the 12?mm bolt out from the LH side of the air bag. Next, reach up through where the glove box was, and remove the 2nd (and last) 12?mm bolt. After that is done, remove the 2 screws on either side above the radio. Next, pull up on the dash, that's all there is to it.

I still haven't put it back in, and I might be forgetting a step..but I had to go to work and didn't have a chance to put everything back together. Oh well. Also, you'll have to remove the gauge cluster. Do this, but pulling on the surrounding trim, and removing it. Then unscrew the two screws and unplug the two plugs.

DISCONNECT YOUR BATTERY WHEN DISCONNECTING THE PLUG FOR THE PASSENGER AIR BAG. Wouldn't be cool at all to have it blow on you.

ps. Don't hold me liable, as I am not responsible for any damage you may/may not cause to your car.
