Default Adding on another sub???

Right now I have us amps md1d powering one alpine type r(dual 2-ohm voice coils version). My question is is this amp strong enough to power another type r?

Here the specs for the us amps md1d
400W x 1 @ 4 Ohm mono
750W x 1 @ 2 Ohm mono
1200W x 1 @ 1 Ohm mono

thanks

I don't know what type of amp that is but if the numbers on it arent "LYING" it should b fine. I have a 750x1 mono powering two and it hits loud just fine!

maybe but this is the problem.

two d2's can only be wired to 2 ohm. which means you'll be pushing 750 watts which really isn't that much. you're reducing the power by half but you're doubling the cone area so you'll notice no difference in loudness.

honestly its a lost cause, sell that ____ anyway. type r's suck
