hawgs74 06-13-2008, 01:31 AM X2
Nice! Props to you and your girlfriend! How long did it take?
Need4Bass05 06-13-2008, 01:42 AM Eh we started it around 10 in the morning and wrapped it up around 7 or so. But we stopped for lunch, ran into town for supplies and let the panels sit for a bit before we put em back together. Longest part is just dremeling off the little plastic "welds" that hold the pieces together. There are like 20 per section. Not hard just tedious.
riboflavin 06-13-2008, 02:26 AM very clean! I like it!

ilovemytC 06-15-2008, 01:24 AM That looks great! Did you take off the stock fabric before? I might redo mine in the future

Need4Bass05 06-15-2008, 02:50 AM That looks great! Did you take off the stock fabric before? I might redo mine in the future
No you keep the stock fabric on. You just spray adhesive on the stock fabric and stretch whatever you are switching it out to on top of it.
ilovemytC 06-15-2008, 04:25 AM ^yeah that's what I did. Wonder what it would look like without the fabric
toeveryhour 06-16-2008, 01:08 PM looks good!
GQQSE13 06-16-2008, 06:57 PM damn you justin, now you've got me wanting to do interior work (since the one guy kept jumping the price of the CF door inserts)
hyperwhitetc 06-16-2008, 07:08 PM what type of vinyl is that? they have so ,many on their site, and cant decide if the pearl cf looks good or the wallaby.

Dude do orange. You got the orange vinyl and the orange underglows. hella alot cheaper and would stand out more.
The vinyl is the Carbon Fiber vinyl they have. Its decently thick, not cheap at all.
GQQSE13 06-17-2008, 04:33 AM damn you justin, now you've got me wanting to do interior work (since the one guy kept jumping the price of the CF door inserts)

CarbonXe 07-09-2008, 02:32 PM Now you have to match the seats, armrest and shift boot.
Need4Bass05 07-09-2008, 09:18 PM Corbeau A4s are replacing the seats, armrest is CF, and shift boot isnt needed (I'm auto)

Need4Bass05 08-05-2008, 12:59 AM Ok bumping this to ask a question. With pics in mind, what color racing seats would look best? I'm getting Corbeau A4s for sure. And prob a harness down the road. I like red because of how it would stand out. Black would look close to stock and I like the contrast of black and grey. My gauges are white and blue, and most of my LEDs are blue. So i gotta keep that in mind. What do you guys think?
GQQSE13 08-06-2008, 05:36 PM this might sound stupid, but to keep with the panda look of all white w/ the cf hood, the black interior w/ white pieces and some white lighting....i'd say black seats with the middle sections white and possibly re-do headliner in white as well. (might sound too much black/white or original but just my opinion
CarbonXe 08-06-2008, 05:41 PM ^ That will last about a week. White seats = impossible to keep clean. If you're going to try to match the interior, have white accents on trim pieces and do black/gray or black/black seats with white stitching.
Jdub86 08-06-2008, 05:50 PM That looks awesome man.
trang_man 08-06-2008, 06:29 PM Props to ya!
g_what 08-06-2008, 08:19 PM thats clean man. nicely done
g_what 08-06-2008, 08:21 PM for seats i'd go with black/black or black/blue. i gotta agree with CarbonXe that the black/white probably wont stay clean too long.
GQQSE13 08-06-2008, 09:28 PM ^^ true. i forgot about that. and ya his interior pieces are all paint matched white
Need4Bass05 08-06-2008, 10:03 PM Just ordered Corbeau A4s in black. Gonna get red harnesses next. woot
GQQSE13 08-06-2008, 10:25 PM damn you and all ur spending on your tc!!!
Need4Bass05 08-07-2008, 02:18 AM ^ Well when you work 6 days a week and 10 hour days you have a little extra money to play with. plus its the last spending Imma do on my car for the year. (probably) Wanted to get em bought before Nightshift, elmhurst and ITB.
g_what 08-07-2008, 02:12 PM congrats on the seats
