I bought the vinyl from trimstore.com. I was gonna do white suede but couldnt find white for anything. Plus after I thought about it, suede isnt really my style.

Eh we started it around 10 in the morning and wrapped it up around 7 or so. But we stopped for lunch, ran into town for supplies and let the panels sit for a bit before we put em back together. Longest part is just dremeling off the little plastic "welds" that hold the pieces together. There are like 20 per section. Not hard just tedious.

No you keep the stock fabric on. You just spray adhesive on the stock fabric and stretch whatever you are switching it out to on top of it.

ilovemytC

Dude do orange. You got the orange vinyl and the orange underglows. hella alot cheaper and would stand out more.

The vinyl is the Carbon Fiber vinyl they have. Its decently thick, not cheap at all.

Ok bumping this to ask a question. With pics in mind, what color racing seats would look best? I'm getting Corbeau A4s for sure. And prob a harness down the road. I like red because of how it would stand out. Black would look close to stock and I like the contrast of black and grey. My gauges are white and blue, and most of my LEDs are blue. So i gotta keep that in mind. What do you guys think?

GQQSE13
08-06-2008, 05:36 PM
this might sound stupid, but to keep with the panda look of all white w/ the cf hood, the black interior w/ white pieces and some white lighting....i'd say black seats with the middle sections white and possibly re-do headliner in white as well. (might sound too much black/white or original but just my opinion

CarbonXe
08-06-2008, 05:41 PM
^ That will last about a week. White seats = impossible to keep clean. If you're going to try to match the interior, have white accents on trim pieces and do black/gray or black/black seats with white stitching.

for seats i'd go with black/black or black/blue. i gotta agree with CarbonXe that the black/white probably wont stay clean too long.
