Is there anything new with the 2009 Scion tC? Looks like it is exactly the same as the '08.

seats are different... that's it.

 

Here's a pic of the 2009 seats:



The difference is in the middle part of the seat. It is now all black instead of the silverish it was in 06-07. I still haven't discovered any other changes myself after looking pretty closely over my car (although this is the only tC I've looked at closely). I think the stock antennae on the 2009 might be shorter as well, although it's still about a foot long.

no, they have some sort of rims on that. I never trust yahoo pictures because it's never accurate. Just go to scion.com I'd think that's the easiest place to find answers....

^^^ the wheels on that yahoo autos pic was the EMX i think by enkei. Yeah you have to pay extra moola for those.

I dunno if it was the same way on the 08 but the radio now has XB TC and XD modes instead of XA XB and TC.

And while I actually like the black seats more than the silver, they get friggin hot. On hot days like lately I find my back sweating after just a few minutes of sitting in them if I don't put my windshield sun blockers up.

the leather on the steering wheel is different too. Instead of the wrinkle kind that the 05-08 has, the 09s are smoother like that on the new corolla and matrix.

 

Huh... hadn't noticed that... although I had noticed that I liked it more than I would have thought.
