if you cut the bumper at the vents get two 90 degee pipes

one for each side of the intercooler, one 90 degree going upwards pointing hte batery, one more pointing the throttle body, one 90 at the throttlebody and a straight to fill the gap in hte middle

on the hot side you need a 45 degree pipe and a 90 degree coupler

so total you need...3 straight couplers, 6 90 degree couplers and a bunch of clamps.

Actually, 90 degree bends are horrible for airflow. You want the tubes as smooth as possible. I am actually just looking into fabbing my own intercooler piping as I have finally had enough with trying to get a full intercooler kit shipped through TurboToyotas.

I plan on getting mandrel bent tubing and fabbing it up to run as smooth as possible and reduce tight bends as much as possible. Then, take it to a weld shop and have it welded up followed by powdercoating.

Ideally, you want the least amount of 90 degree bends as possible and use the least amount of clamps as possible to help encourage good airflow through the piping.

yea i agree but he bought pipes off of ebay or is planning to buy pipes from ebay and i've gone through that route so i suggested what i did

ideally, you should make the bend around the metal thing near the front of hte car as drawn out as you can, abrupt bends are worse than those drawn out ones. and the one near the throttle body should be the smallest bend you can fit...and also try to weld as many pieces together as you can haha

Ya know, we have ours on sale for like $320. Aluminum, bead rolled, HKS flange in place. I have about 40 sets in stock.

The intercooler itself is the dictator of cutting or not. Not the piping.

One of our customers with our kit, and no cut.

Nope. The pipes will work with almost any turbocharger. They may require some modification depending on the manifold location of the turbocharger.

I thought since it is sort of on topic and no point in making a thread for one question...y not take the risk? lolol

Im in the same boat as you as in finding piping and such but the Dezod piping looks verrry promising especially for the price right now!!

Yea, I think I will probably end up buying the Dezod piping. I have bought a few things from them in the past and had great luck. Maybe I won't have to wait a month for them to ship it like I did with TT.
