Pioneer 12s w/ Amp
Couldn't go too crazy on this setup as they are putting on the show room floor after a few shows but the whole setup can flip up onto the back seats when they are folded down to give full access to the spare and yes they thump, had to turn the amp down because it was starting to rattle everything including the amp itself

i have a similar set up except i'm using 8's and they face the back seats. i made a cover that goes over everything to hide the amps though. something for you to consider. it only cost a few bucks to do and made everything look a lot more appealing.

There is a cover that covers up the wiring, just didnt have it on in the pic and yes the upgraded head unit has the rca outs with built in subwoofer control for aftermarket subs and the box was about as small as I could make i with the subs specs and it can also flip over onto the folded down seats to access the spare..... plenty of bass I mean plenty even with everything open sitting at a show you could hear/feel it a good distance away and acted like the dj for the show we put on this weekend

The stock "premium" speakers are more then anough for most peoples needs but the head unit also has outputs for an amp for aftermarket speakers if you should feel the need later on, but those 2 subs with the amp at about half way is enough to give you a headache if you are driving a decent distance lol and the way the roof moves with the subs on you would think it was painted aluminum foil

What are the setting's you set for the Bass, Trebble, fade and subwoof on the radio?

I have the bass fr the radio set at about 2 so the speakers put out a little treb at about 4 to compensate for the bass and I tuned it so there is good bass at 0 and more then enough when you go to 5 or 6 for the sub output
