What are the best subwoofers for SQ that can do 1000Wrms? No price point, just suggestions. (PS. I did a search for "best SQ sub" and got zip.) I'm installing it in a sealed enclosure.

Have a look at the link below, and if you'd like more info just PM me. Audiopulse has some awesome subs.

For best SQ small sealed that can take 1000 watts rms look at
1. Image Dynamics- IDMAX
2. Stereo Integrity- Magnum
3. JL Audio- W7
4. JBL- WGTI
5. Alpine- Type X
6. Adire Audio- Brahma *discontinued
7. Boston Acoustics- SPG

Dayton Reference HO 12"
Image Dynamics IDQ 12" or IDMAX 12"
FiQ 12"
SSA Icon 12"
Audiopulse REVO 12"

All very good subs for not terrible prices. The Dayton is definitely the cheapest, but doesn't offer quite as much output as the others I believe.

The new Mag is ideal for a sealed enclosure. I would go that way with that much power and a sealed enclosure.

I'm not quite positive TC Sounds in bankrupt. They wouldn't still have their website hosted and producing Audiopulse drivers if they were bankrupt. I haven't heard a clear enough story from anyone in order to fully explain the situation.

I wouldn't buy JL gear off ebay. In the process of removing the serials they have to disassemble and reassemble with limited knowledge and lower quality glues. Where something like the IDMAX there is no serials so it won't be tampered with. I'm glad to say all my audio gear was bought authorized

He's right, they're "gone". Everything was sold off from their production facility in San Diego, including all their stock, liquidated to places like partsexpress. They're even selling patents that wouldn't make sense if they intended to continue as a manufacturer.
Here are a couple links that elaborate;
